little urban without a prairie

urban pioneer life can be hard since pay is low, the cost of living high, & what is left isn't enough to cover the cost of normalcy (clothes, cable, domestic necessities, etc). But it is also exciting as Indigo and the occasional kith or kin celebrate with homemade gifts & treats, try to figure out how to make window farms, wolly pockets, tend aerogardens, knit, crochet, learns to smith, and a whole slew of other things classified as DIY. And every night all are safe and warm. A little urban without a prairie with the happy thought that this kind of living is for the betterment of all.
