whats pretty please? why do we as a human race think that please, a feeling of request needs to be pretty to be acceptable or increase its value, is please not enough. why do we teach our children that pretty please is a better version while they are beautiful as they are? i am not beautiful and i am not pretty. i dont need empty words of affirmation that makes me feel a short sighted happiness and gives me insecurities. im not perfect and its not okay. you dont need to tell every fat kid that they are just as beautiful because beauty is nothing. nothing compared to love, nothing compared to loyalty nothing compared to bravery that i have seen every kid beautiful or ugly has. the capabilities to learn and teach, the kind ways these are the qualities of a person to be praised and makes are children truly human.
