It's quite simple, really. Pearl=oyster oysters are in the sea, what is another magical creature that lives in the sea? Mermaids. What is a version of mermaids that are seen in a darker light? Sirens. What is a different way to spell siren? Cyren. this is what my brain does instead of letting me sleep.
