January 13. Year Unknown, Will Probably Never Know.

I have bloomed into a beautiful dragon.

I know dragons don't bloom, and flowers do, but I'm not about to be a flower. Doesn't that sound lame? I train dragons for a living. I can't be a flower. I have to be a dragon or they'll sense my weakness.

Harold has been quite cross with me since the boat trip. We ran out of water on the last couple of days, so I tried giving him the last of the rum like any real mother would do and he spit it out. I was so angry and we are in a fight.

But I'm glad to be home. Linnie came up and visited for a day or two, but her numerous boyfriends were requesting her back at Hogwarts. That girl will meet a boy who wants nothing to do with her a fall in love. If only I could tell her the stories I went through. You know, without being seen as a complete failure to my daughter.

I'm going to arrange a trip to go see Sirius, maybe the parents' house, too, if my dad ever found his way home. Probably not. I hear Maia has a clan now, James is real bitter about it. He comes up every other weekend to get drunk and sulk when he doesn't have a game the next morning.

How I miss that drama.
