We are self-protective people by nature, so we don't know/hate love and because of this we don't know/hate God, who is love. What would happen if we would let down our walls...? God has walked with me every step of the way this whole trip. {God is so good.} I'll be honest, the past few days have been great spiritually... not so much emotionally. When I first began this "journey to authentic faith" I had a clear idea of how this trip was supposed to look... or so I thought. God has been teaching me, yet again, just because I have a plan for my life doesn't mean it's necessarily the same plan He has for my life. I can't begin to count the number of times God has stopped me this past week to ask me what I am doing and why I am doing it. But God has been gracious enough to show me that He was never asking me to be perfect. He never expected me to do everything right all the time. He just expected me to listen to Him and love Him. As I get ready to go to a women's worship night tonight, I would be so grateful if you could please be praying for my mom and I to receive clear direction from God as to what our next steps are to be in this journey. Thank you! I love you!💖 Also, I pray God blesses you today whoever you are and whatever you are doing. As a reminder to myself and to you, dear friend: You are seen and known by God. He loves you where you are at and just exactly as you are. He could never love you any less or any more than He does in this moment right now. Your choices don't change His love for you.
