((HIATUS: END, SORTA))

((There's a TL;DR at the bottom. A few months ago, I made a post saying that I was going to make a single post that described what happened during Lily's prom, move on, and continue the blog's story. However, in attempting to make that blog post, I realized something about the stuff that I wanted to happen in that single post. Without spoiling much, I will tell you this. It sure was a lot of stuff that needed to happen. Too much, in fact, for a single, measly, 10 image post. So I have decided to take a new approach. What this approach is will be kept a secret, even though if you know anything about me or the style of storytelling I've been edging with on this blog, it probably won't be too hard to figure out. What is important is this: I am as of right now working on new content. 90% of this content I will release at the same time in about a week or so. Look, here's a preview of something I was drawing just today.

However, I can hear you now. Yes, you, one of my five or six fans that actually really gives a shit about my blog about a bitchy pink pegasus. "Jesus christ, more waiting. This is just going to be like last time and nothing will get done". Well, I'm pleased to announce the following: For the next few weeks that I'm working on this exciting new content, this blog is going to be active again! But it's not going to focus on Lilypad at the moment. Nor is it going to focus on Sketch, or Alpha!Lilypad. Those characters are too important and plot-centric. No, for the next few weeks, this blog will have the feature privilege of focusing on everyone's favorite gay fasionista, Lemonade Enigma.

That's right! Remember this dude??? I'm sure everyone was just dying to see more of him. So yeah, for the next few weeks. Please ask this dude questions. Learn more about him. Damn, I miss you guys.I'm glad to be back.)) TL;DR: I'm making awesome plot centric updates, but right now we're going to focus on Lemonade Enigma, so ask him questions.

((Hey 203 followers! Thanks for sticking around during this dry spell. I'm currently working on a single update that's going to show what happened to Lily and that weird dog thing, Sketch, at the pony prom, and then Sketch is gonna leave the blog for a while, and this is gonna go back to its roots for a bit, just the Lily character answering questions and being a bitch. There obviously is more story to be told but I'd much rather stay away from that for now, but I really miss this blog and running it.))

this great vector was made by Mactavish1996! and I pretty obviously traced it. I'd rather admit to this now than be called out on it later, so I'll explain why I did it.

It should be obvious at this point to those following along that the story direction Lily is going in is pretty meta, and in meta fiction a lot of the time style is an important factor of the storytelling. For this part of the story, set in this specific location, I see it important that the characters look like this. This does have relevance to the actual plot. It's certainly not me being lazy. This is much harder than using the pony creator, actually!

Here's some shit

I won't ever trace custom vectors, only vectors that are made from actual screenshots, unless the artist gives me permission.

For vectors that I DO use, I'll list them all on this new page. This will be organized by post and then the vectors used.

The introduction of Sketch, that spunky dog dude that actually IS drawn by me, was sort of a balance to this.

so tl;dr, I really want these sections of the story to have this mix between FiM and MSPA style. I know admitting to it doesn't really make it right to do, but I hope this will help you guys to understand why I'm doing it.

((200 images, 200 followers.))

((Just reached what I think is a cool milestone.

The most recent image (and it's one revision) is the 200th image I've uploaded to the blog. Kind of strange for it to be on such a cliffhanger, with our favorite bitch pony not even in the frame! I promise I didn't plan it like that.

I also just recently got 200 followers.

Most people do some sort of giveaway or something, but I'm just gonna reminisce.

It feels really cool, honestly, to have gotten this far. I'm pretty sure Lily's gone far past everyone's initial expectations, including my own. I made Lily based off a bully character made by Nevaeh of the same name and appearance. At the time, I was running a few other pony creator blogs. Lily was sort of something to do for fun on the side. But slowly, I became more interested in Lily and the others faded into obscurity. Sure, the characters will still be used - Shadow, for example, even appeared in a recent post on this blog. But there's no doubt that Lily is my most active blog.

I think that's because she's just so interesting to work on. She really has come a long way. Look at how far she's come from turning on her webcam, post #1, with that shitty pseudo-focus effect that I was terrible at back then. She used to be overly-cynical and rude. She still isn't totally nice, but she's a bitch with a conscience, making friends, going to prom and even making the first steps towards a relationship with Ace.

Thank you everybody for your support, because without the questions and the likes and reblogs, I'd have nothing to get me to work on this blog. I hope you're all enjoying the ride so far, because we haven't even reached the highest drop yet.
