Uh, I wanted to listen to and watch the podcast thing as I love to hear Hudson talk for longer periods. But the teacher seems so annoying in every clip I have seen and something about Hudson seems off. Or idk, maybe I need to try again later.

I have a feeling that sentence has come to life countless times over the past few days.

Sometimes I think ”nah, there's no chance they're as obsessed with each other as I headcanon them to be." Then once again they have proven me wrong. They're somehow even more obsessed than I imagine. Every story and photo of them shows they just live in their own little bubble, and apparently they can talk for days and still want more. Beautiful.

Just realised we have not seen a single photo of them on their phones. Though, there’s probably no need to be as they are so captivated by each other that there’s not a single second to spare and most likely they are texting each other when using their phones anyway, so yeah.

In some paradoxical way, I am amused by how much it bothers people that people ship Hudcon on Tumblr. In the one place where shipping two lead actors of a show has kinda been expected to happen since the beginning of time basically. People have always seen chemistry between people and rooted for their love. I feel like Tumblr really is the best place for that because someone needs to actively go and look to see anything.

But then again I could have lived without this amusement and just enjoyed my little circles analysing, heck even overanalysing, stuff Hudson and Connor do.

There’s something that makes me giggle about the way Hudcon are with each other. Hudson acts like such a gentleman, carrying the groceries and pulling out Connor’s chair. Connor, in turn, gives Hudson his undivided attention. You can practically see it in so many photos: whatever story Hudson is telling seems like the most important thing in the world to Connor at that moment.

I think one of Hudson’s love languages must be acts of service. Connor's on the other hand must be quality time.

Based on almost nothing actually, but it feels like Hudson is the spokesperson about their plans or who they are and all that when it comes to media etc, while Connor is the spokesperson when they run into fans together.

I've been headcanoning for a while that borrowing clothes is Hudson's love language. He likes carrying little reminders of the people he loves with him or on him.

We've seen him borrow other people's clothes too, but nowhere near as often or as much as Connor's. Whether they intentionally match or they soulmated so hard that it keeps happening, they always at least seem to end up in something similar. Hudson seems to love wearing Connor's clothes, Connor seems to enjoy wearing Hudson's, and I love the idea that it's their own quiet way of carrying a little piece of each other around. Almost like saying, "we're a unit," without actually saying it. And I don't think that takes away from them wanting separate careers at all - if anything, it makes the connection even sweeter.

Which reminded me of the Met Gala jacket moment. It’s so funny to me. Hudson looked genuinely disappointed when it wouldn't fit Connor. It’s special too because he totally wouldn’t try to make just anyone wear that jacket. Looking back at that moment after seeing how much they seem to share everything now makes me think about this headcanon even more.

I still haven't recovered from the Hudcon sightings. It genuinely feels like I got run over by a bulldozer (or was it Hudson the Zamboni President running over not only the supporting cast but also the entire fandom?) I knew it would hit so hard, but somehow it hit even harder than I expected.

Just think about walking around Toronto, minding your own business, and suddenly you see Hudson and Connor (BOTH of them!) walking down the street, looking happy and content to be together. It’s beautiful how the bubbling joy can be seen in that photo. They bring something out of each other that no one else can.

So… when should one be worried about having some kind of delighted reaction every time they see a photo of Hudson in the black glasses hitting their dashboard? Asking for a friend of course.

Edit: just as I post this there’s a Hudcon sighting and he is wearing them??? Or is he wearing sunglasses at night, idk. Anyway, I’m so happy.

Edit2: I accidentally liked this (and then unliked). It truly is just me talking to myself (I do see everyone who likes these random posts, and it makes me happy. Love you, uhh, like a wise man once said lmao)

Imagine someone from Hudson’s circle quietly nesting a healthy little crush on him. Then Hudson shows up with Connor and they went: ”Alrighty then. I have no chance with him. Ever."

I’m enjoying the chillness that has filled the fandom. It often happens when the boys are together. I hope that could be the case today too.

Season 2 starts filming soon which means the first day is inevitably going to include Hudson and Connor having the most emotional reunion imaginable even though they probably saw each other outside the studio five minutes earlier.
