Why I left the EA Game Changer Program

Judging by the state of my inbox, a lot of you want to know what happened that lead to me leaving the Game Changer program and I was gonna write up a MASSIVE text post about it — I still might one day — but honestly… I’m not sure if I could be bothered right now. A lot of things happened, big things and small things, public things and things that took place in the Discord and DMs; all of it absolute bullshit but none of it is anything I want to continue to deal with, which is why I left.

This post still turned out to be quite long so I’m gonna put it under a cut, but if you’re expecting ALL the juicy details, this isn’t it. This is a couple of the major issues but it’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Here for your enjoyment is a cosplay set for Cleo Everlasting from sorcerous stabber Orphen! The set contains Cleo’s eyes, dress, and pendant. The dress and pendant use the second reference image for the catalog, and the eyes use the first image. The dress comes in 41 colors, and the pendant comes in 63 colors! It features 3 unique stones with a variety of colors each, and several metal bases to create even more variety (base colors are gold, silver, bronze, rose gold, black, and moonlight metal) Both the dress and pendant come with a .xcf and .psd document included to recolor every piece of both items. Tesek Bayou (MOSTLY CC free)

Tesek Bayou is a world with a nice swampy vibe to it. It is split in the middle by a mountain range that divides two very different populations!

On the right side is the human population (and maybe a werewolf or two), nestled into a nice little country town. It has a really small town vibe, with small town things to do.

On the left is the mystical unexplored side of the swamp, where legends say a nocturnal colony of mermaids lives. This part of the bayou is said to be very dangerous, will you dare to look?

Includes 51 total lots.22 community,  And a few scattered lots that are unbuilt.

!!!!REQUIRED PACKS!!!! Please be aware that I do own all stuff and expansion packs (other than sweet treats), and I have tried to keep tabs on everything built and used, but cannot promise I have not forgotten to mention a pack. HOWEVER, for basic items the games will replace items with the nearest available default. The packs listed are mostly done so for critical function objects or features, I will do my best to list what is required and why. Island paradise: There are mermaid families on one half of the populated town. Not all of them have the mermaid occult state, but some do. There are also boats on some lots.

Into the future: Many of the mermaids use the fashion from this pack, and the herbalists’ house uses the plant rugs from this pack too.

World adventures: The Senteleka natural history museum uses many elements from WA to make it more interesting.

Supernatural : The history museum uses many things from the supernatural pack, and the mermaid side of the world uses a lot of the more magically inclined items in their homes. There is also a family of werewolves in the large trailer park.

Pets: The werewolf family has a pet.

Sims 3 Super CAW Special effects library

Recently after going through super CAW I saw the potential for so many neat projects. The problem was, some effects don't carry over into the game, or disappear when your camera leaves the chunk. So to make future world builds easier I made a nearly complete library file of all of the special effects in super CAW, And am posting it here so that other world builders can easily check to see which effects will stick and carry over before the put a ton of time in only to find out in the end the effect does not render in the final world. A few notes: 1. The effects are placed on a flat gray background, with text in black and "landmarks" in white. There is a black and white blob in the center of the map, this is where the program would drop effects if I double clicked by mistake. I left this area empty during building, which is why there is a in that row. Some other rows have gaps because the effect was lifted into the air to either display it, it overpowered surrounding boxes, or it had a graphics glitch at ground level. 2. I excluded the footstep sequences from the library. The reason for this is the footsteps are often empty effects, or identical in appearance. While the effects change with our sims, for the purpose of world building it felt unnecessary to include every single foot step effect, as there are probably hundreds of footstep effects. I can make a footstep effect library separately at a later date. if you wish to have residual footprints in your world you can easily find them for almost all weather types and walk styles fairly easily. 3. MANY effect boxes appear empty. This could be for a variety of reasons: -The effect was single frame and too quick to see. -The effect is a one and done effect. The vast majority of effects fall into this category. It means it only plays one time. Some play again if the chunk is refreshed, some don't seem to. -The effect really did just do nothing. -The effect is hidden under the ground. For this reason I've included a ground drop version. I only made this for the full effects file, but the hidden island effects can be easily removed if they cause performance issues as they are at the end of the list, 4. This does not include the objects from super CAW, I will be making an object version next, but for performance reasons I just did effects for this one. Some effects will appear to work fine in CAW and will not render in game. That is why an exported world file has been created for each version. Effect notes: The obnoxious giant yellow square is called ep2measuringtape if you want to delete it, zoom in close to it and it will shrink down into its effect box. The hidden island effects are known to cause severe lag on some computers. For this reason I advise using these effects sparingly, as even just a couple of the large ones can cause performance issues. The last few days I have been trying to bust out a relatively quick world project. For quite awhile I’ve wanted to do a bayou themed world and have finally gotten motivated to do one. it’ll be a relatively simple world, but with a neat twist I hope you’ll enjoy. I’m hoping to finish this very soon! I would say this world is around 70% complete currently, but there is a lot more landscaping left to do. This will be a mostly scenic world, with a fairly small town.

The world is Alpha Centauri by @linassims4

The colors of the house are meant to convey a sweetly romantic mood, fit into the environment, and represent the color tones of the two living here. There is black and white woven throughout, which you will see more of in closer shots and the interior. The black and white elements are mostly the same pattern as Ahnoui’s head ‘shrooms (and The Boss’s) , indicating a mystical connection.

There is a lot of occult symbolism in the use of black and white together.

This Mysterious Vortex is mostly pink in color. Pink is Fauno’s color.

The taller ‘shrooms here are black and white, with some red or dark pink highlights. Fauno is now an adult ( in this setting) , and requires lots of blood to survive.

Mannequin Uncapper

****Updated: January 8th 2023**** *****NOTICE*****

I will no longer be supporting this mod. I have removed the google drive link from this post to encourage people to view it on mod the sims, where there is a full tutorial on how to self update the mod should it break again after January 8th 2023. I thank you all for supporting my work through the years but I no longer play the Sims 4. I will possibly keep my CC going outside of coded mods, but Sims 4 Studio frequently releases batch fixes for broken CC, so I’m not sure if it will be necessary. If something you dearly love does break feel free to message me.

Have you ever wanted more mannequins? Are you tired of repeatedly downloading from the gallery to increase your capacity by a few mannequins and still getting that annoying error message when you try to plop one down? This is the mod for you!

Mannequin Uncapper allows you to have 1000 (!) mannequins per lot. Do you wan even more mannequins? Let me know!

Known issues: The Mannequins in the retail lots may be undressed after applying the mod, so make note of the outfits they had on or save your mannequins to a room for later.

Ichtaca bed set

Awhile back someone requested some furniture items using the movie night textures. I was in love with this idea since I really loved all the vivid designs used in that pack. I plan to do more of these themed items in the future, but for now please enjoy the Ichtaca bed set.

To all people missing Sims 3 Expansions and other Origin content

The recent Origin update in mid May left many people either missing Origin content as if they had never purchased it, or unable to use Origin content even with it still being shown as owned due to it being deactivated by EA.

The vast amount of these reports came from users who had purchased their codes off of eBay and had them revoked after the Origin update.

I, like many of you am a victim of this same issue and EA had confirmed this action was not a glitch or a false positive, and that this action will not reversed.

This is the e-mail I received from EA regarding my case: 

“Hello, We received your latest message regarding the action taken on your account. We have now performed all investigations possible on this issue and we will not reverse the decision. Please do not expect further responses from us on this matter. Thank you, EA Terms of Service “

If you are missing Sims 3 (either via origin or in the launcher) or other Origin content please contact EA support to see if your content was removed by them or if this is another issue.

If you are told they were blocked by EA you can help speed up your process by e-mailing “ [email protected] “, it took almost a week to get my initial rejection e-mail that redirected me to account disputes.

If you purchased your code from eBay in the last 180 days I would issue a dispute immediately, as Origin is doing a purge of these codes. If you look around eBay you will see most of these code shop owners have already packed up and fled.

If however like me, you had your content removed and have been playing your games for months or years without issue, then I’m very sorry. There just isn’t much you can do but report the sellers.

If you had your content removed by EA and they will not return your content then please take the time to call or write into paypal and report these sellers.

Please be aware that if this post shows up in non sims game tags it is because I tagged a fairly massive list of Origin games since there are reports of many Origin games experiencing this issue. The point of this post is to try and help as many Origin customers protect themselves as possible.
