Let me preface this story by mentioning that I have known Ryan and Angie for quite sometime now. I shot their engagements, and her bridals, and their wedding, and a couples session as newly weds! So I LOVE these people! They are family now. So when Angie told me she was pregnant and wanted to surprise Ryan, a) I cried and b) there was no way I was going to miss doing that session (even though they live in Plano). So we worked it all out and I drove to Plano for this special, magical session. Angie told Ryan that we were there for Christmas card photos, so he had no idea what was about to happen... Today I'm celebrating! We wrapped up the last wedding of 2015 last night at @palmdooratx and I couldn't be more grateful for such an amazing year! I've traveled so much this year, and saw over 15 beautiful states. I was honored to shoot weddings in so many gorgeous locations - in the south, the east coast, and the north east. I have SO MUCH enjoyed photographing your love stories. Wedding days, mamas and babies, proposals, and a very special shoot where @formerlyknownasdancy announced to her hubby that she was pregnant by telling him they were doing Christmas photos, but it was actually a "surprise I'm pregnant" shoot.... Yeah, those are the moments that I live for. Those are the moments when you make me feel more like family than a photographer. I'm so excited for next year, with even bigger travel, and weddings in Texas, DC, Virginia, New York, and Nashville! There's also some BIG news coming in the spring!! I've been working on something VERY special that's going to be exciting for the wedding industry! Thank you guys so much for being a part of my life and business (which is my life). Fun fact : I studied within the school of architecture at Virginia Tech and have a degree in interior design. One of my favorite times in college is when I studied abroad and visited Amsterdam, Paris, Venice, Florence, Verona, Venice, and Rome (along with Germany and Switzerland). It's those beautiful places that I long to photograph now. Romantic architecture like this takes me back to that time ❤️ #architecture #hokielove

These two lovebirds *almost* had their wedding day ruined by flash flooding and tornadoes... But in the end it turned into a great story and is a day that none of us will ever forget, that's for sure! :)
