❝  a christmas movie in the summer ?  it’s not dumb, or a dangerous risk, and i honestly have never seen the movie, so we could watch it. five year olds don’t really plan anything, in my personal opinion, but there is no wrong doing in planning things ahead of time.  ❞

“You’ve never seen it? How is that possible, it’s like a classic!” Lindsey exclaimed, so surprised that she forgot to defend her love of watching christmas movies year-round. “Not many five year olds, no. But i sure did, especially when we came to town for the summer. There was just so much to do, and i didn’t want to miss anything.”

“ Then you came to the perfect place, I am wonderful company. ” Playfully brushing her hair back Nadia laughed, stepping closer to the female to take some of the things she brought with her. “ You could have come sooner, I’ve gotten here ages ago, you didn’t need to be by yourself. ” the blonde spoke softly. “ Did I ever say I love your dorkiness ? ”

“You really are,” Lindsey agreed with a laugh. “Thanks, Nadia. Really - i have no idea what i’d do without you,” she allowed her to take the grocery bag full of ice cream and one of the fluffier blankets. “You haven’t mentioned all the things you love about me recently, but it’s always appreciated to hear,” she teased.

“ and what gives you that impression? ”  her response is snappy, but her piper’s expression quickly softened. she’d never been any good at keeping things from lindsey       which, considering her current situation, was something she needed to work on. sooner, rather than later, by the looks of it.

“Nothing, nothing. You just seem a little... different. i don’t know,” Lindsey tried to brush it off - it had been a long time since she’d seen her cousin, and piper was probably just growing up. “it has been a while since we really talked, though. i know it’s my fault for moving around so much, but we really need some time to catch up.”

“Thank god. i got here way before the rest of my family, and it’s been so lonely,” Lindsey admitted. “And i know i’m a total dork, but i brought the Wizard of Oz.”

“Oh, i knew the ice cream would do it. And by a ton, I meant three cartons,” Lindsey held up a full grocery bag. “They were on sale. Anyway, i brought Casablanca, but Netflix has pretty much everything.”

hi guys! i’m sam, i’m 18, she/her pronouns, and in central time zone. i’m super excited to be here, so if you have any plot ideas please hmu. here’s a little bit about my ray of sunshine, lindsey:

as shown in the sutton family page, she was raised by a single mother and as a result, she firmly believes in girl power and being independent

she never knew her father and despite always feeling loved, his absence left her with the idea that she wasn’t good enough

she is 23 years old and was born on January 5th, 1994

her full name is Lindsey Marie Sutton

she’s bisexual, and has been out since she was fifteen

she is a free spirit with a strong moral compass, although she’s more forgiving towards the mistakes of others than she is towards herself

only her friends call her Linds

it’s really not that hard to be her friend - she’s a sucker for good jokes and friendly faces

she’s a huge flirt

currently lindsey is living in los angeles, trying to start up her own record label. she moves around a lot, but always returns to newbrooke every summer

she was charged with a misdemeanor for possession of marijuana last summer; she didn’t serve any jail time, but still hasn’t told her family about the incident

after being charged, lindsey has stayed clear of all drugs and the crowd she hung around during the incident

summer is her favorite time of the year because she gets to return to the place that feels most like home
