So I’m on my way to taking commissions and I’ve got NO CLUE what to charge. My work is done with water color pencils and this one, for example, took about 3 hours but maybe I’m just a slow worker? A loved one suggested 20 dollars an hour but that seemed pretty steep to me since I’m kind of just getting started... I was thinking maybe 15 for the first hour and 10 dollars per hour after that? Like if I spent 3 hours that would ultimately be 15+10+10 so 45?

Here’s my rescue dog, DeLorean, making her first Tumblr appearance!!! She was in the shelter for FOUR WHOLE YEARS and it breaks my heart thinking that day after day was the same for her. It has been such a blessing to enrich her life and give her new experiences. We love taking her swimming, to the lake, to new parks, and we even got her a little trailer to take her on bike trips! There are still so many new things we’d love to do with her but she’s a pretty nervous girl so we’re taking it slow. She started training recently and it’s already building her confidence so much! DeLorean is pretty much the best thing that has ever happened to me and my depression has been virtually nonexistent since she came into my life. 🥰
