Ā Ā āYou act as though Iāve never seen a man undressed before. How gentlemanly of you. Alas, my beloved Irish, need I say more?ā A derisive shrug dismissed his haste to hide his shame. Unkept curls tressed across her cheeks, grazing and flicking about as she strode toward where Raphaelle had previously been snoozing. āQuite frankly youād think to stay within my home and not gain a visit?ā Snark alive and well, though the sun had barely begun its rise in the distance. The tips alight like that of candles newly lit. Prepared to burn for as long as the wick allowed.
Ā Ā Bianca sighed heavily, a hand gripping the side of the bed as she swung herself onto it, legs crossing as she made herself comfortable. Bemused did she watch as Raphaelle scrambled about to get dressed, the sly smirk upon her full lips taking no measures to hide itself. āPoor, lonely Italian boy. So out of his element within a wondrous castle.ā Lips pouted forward before a chuckle came forth. Hands folded neatly atop her stomach and head resting against the pillows formly taken by his lover. Who she was most certain had already run off for the day to find himself a good hunt. Balthazar was that way, indeed. Leave his little lover boy in bed. Alone.
Ā Ā āWhy stay with such a bastard, anyway?ā Bianca mused aloud, one eye reopening itself to watch him get dressed.
Her comments have his brow furrow slight as he fumbles with the tie on his trousers, blankets falling from his shoulders to pool at his bare feet.Ā āYou neednāt.ā His voice is a tad sheepish, accent strong and drenched in sleep from such a sudden wake up call. He watches her from his peripheral, reaching to grab the thick black ribbon from the bedside and tie it quickly around his throat. He slips on his undershirt next, the white fabric loose over his small frame.
A few combs of his fingers through his alabaster locks and he looks to the plush chair at his right for the rest of his garb, folded neatly over the back as it had been the night previous.Ā āI wouldāve visited you myself if I knew you were home.ā No doubt he wouldāve found himself lost within the vastness of the castle before he ever found her, but the sentiment was true. He looks over his shoulder to her, eyes downcast. āI have missed you.ā
Though her words were true, they struck a chord. He was out of place-- a pauper amongst luxury heād only ever dreamed of. CainhurstāsĀ decadence seemed such a world away from his lonely village in dear Italia, from the ghastly streets of Yharnam, even. He doesnāt respond, simply tugs his robe from the chair and slips it over his shoulders.
His gaze is unfocused, pale lashes casting shadows into the blue of his eyes as he pauses for a moment. He reaches for his chain belt with a sigh.Ā āYou know why.ā He slips the silver pin of pearl berries into the belt to keep it from loosening before he turns back to her. āHe isnāt a bastard, heās just...ā A pause.Ā ā...complicated.ā He leaves it at that as he settles himself on the edge of the bed, folding his legs to sit cross-legged with his hands in his lap.Ā
āNow, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit? Did you simply wish to say hello?ā
