*LONG POST đ¨ đ¨ * So before I start this story (my state I.D expired on April 4th) I got a new one... Iâve been showing my expired one because they issued me a paper one and itâs just easier until the hard one comes in the mail (shouldnât matter anyway because Iâm 30 right) anyway... Iâm walking into this establishment, Iâm behind several white people and it gets to me. I hand this white bouncer gentlemen my I.D older cat at least 45-50, now granted since April 4th literally NOBODY has cared about me using the old I.D because Iâm 30) It gets to me... I hand this gentlemen my I.D and even asked him how he was doing (no response) he scans my I.D heavily, take note he didnât do this to not a single person in front of me. (Oh when you get to a black person all of sudden you need glasses, he even put it under a light) anyway Iâm offended at this point. He then proceeds to tell me that my I.D is expired. I then respond with OK.... what does it matter Iâm 30 BRO. He then proceeds to tell me itâs illegal to let people in an establishment with an expired I.D ( even if that was the case, bro this is CLEARLY a hole in a wall joint. CLEARLY! (To make matters worst, this was my first time EVER being carded there). Him: doesnât matter sir do you have anything thatâs up to date? I looked at him and said your right it doesnât because âThis Is Americaâ handed him my (Paper) I.D and proceeded on my way. I then watched him I.D everyone else who came through that door, and it was barely a glance at every other white persons I.D and a COME ON IN WELCOME!
