Charles Culver (1908 - 1967) - Resting Deer. Chalk, pastel and watercolour.
Went in to the city with my boyfriend to have an ice cream and walk around and then he had to go back home but I felt like staying out so I went to a park to read and saw they were doing free outdoor live theatre there an hour later so I stayed and saw it and <333 theatre!!!!! Swedish summer evenings!!!! Political satire!!!
Anyway I’ve been filling my days with stuff, I don’t think I have to be afraid of spending my whole vacation on the sofa. Might have to spend it looking for a new apartment though

Morning of my third day of vacation I’m already bored
I just got an email at work that started with a “here is a polite and natural follow-up reminder in Italian:” and it really makes me wonder… people who use AI to write their emails, are they really so busy they don’t see when they leave these things in? Or do they do it on purpose for some reason? Like if you don’t write the text yourself it seems like the least you can do is at least proofread it??

I see we are stomping on my nerves today
Applied for a PhD position and didn’t get it. It was quite expected because I got the date wrong and only realised with five minutes to spare and had to send my application as it was. Thinking I might just do independent research in my spare time, do some random uni courses.
Often in my job I write texts about things I don’t know too much about but my favourites are the ones written before an event happens as if the event already was over. “The questions raised led to interesting discussions among the participants” “A thought provoking afternoon greatly enjoyed by the participants” girl what do you know about that?

Appropriating lesbian culture because my index finger nail broke this morning and I couldn’t be bother to cut all the other ones down too so I just cut the one while the others are still long
