Hey you! I've got a loooot of pent-up anger that needs some releasing, preferably inexpensive, subtle, reusable, and confined to my room. Any links (har har) or ideas for me?
Scream into a pillow- or a blanket, or whatever! This way you can let it all out without scaring anyone.
Punch or kick something soft- When I’m mad I want to break stuff! But that doesn’t do any good. Instead, punch something soft, like a pillow, your bed, etc. A stress ball is good for squeezing.
Destroy something- Well… Maybe you can break some stuff. Try writing/drawing why you’re angry and then ripping the paper up. You could also try popping balloons/bubble wrap, cutting/ripping up old magazines, crunching ice, breaking twigs in half, etc.
Dance it out- I know this sounds silly, but dancing is a really nice way to get rid of extra wiggles. Listen to good music and freestyle it! Or you could try disco, krumping, even twerking… Whatever floats your boat.
Work on a hobby- The healthiest thing to do is to use your anger to become better at something. Things like drawing, knitting, martial arts, cooking, or just playing a video game are good options.
