So, I’d actually managed to finish cleaning up, coloring and shading this sketch on June 16th, but I’ve been a little busy lately and so never actually got around to posting it here on Tumblr.

Given that it is now Michael’s birthday (where before I had posted the sketch on Seamus’), I thought I would rectify that, and finally post it and all its many variations I made (each viewable under the cut).

Funnily enough, after many unbelievably long delays due to health and other issues, I am actually very belatedly celebrating my own birthday and getting and eating my own ice cream cake today by pure happenstance, so I guess we’re celebrating our birthdays together, this year. :) This was not at all planned; the cake makers involved simply said that they could not provide my cake until today back when I ordered it, but it is quite funny and cute to me for a variety of reasons.

Anyways, a very happy birth month to my very dearest and most precious and most beloved blorbos, and my favorite couple ever. 🥺💖

I promise to never be normal about them again for as long as I live.

Technically only the first out of a set of three total artworks which go together for my fic, but I finished this piece yesterday, and since the spoilers it does have in it are imperceptible and incomprehensible without having actually finished the fic and understood it in hindsight, I figured I’d go ahead and post it today.

It’s time for Wildcard’s first propaganda post for the @voice-of-the-sexyman championship, and he’s turned to some of the best minds he knows for guidance!

Sooooo…y’all who follow me have already formally met my dear Cheated from my STP-themed crossover AU before, in the form of one of the artworks above, but now that I’ve entered him officially into the @voice-of-the-sexyman tournament, I figured I’d properly share his new main character sheet. :3 (He does also have a special extra form for when he’s gaining enough power to seize control over the protag, but you’ll see that in a later artwork probably.)

(I hope its okay to post this, tournament peeps?)

Anyway, below the cut, you can find some more up-close, individual, transparent pics of the other artworks. :) Very excited to see how he does over there and all the fun and memories he and I’ll get to have and make partaking in the festivities! You’ll be seeing a lot more of him for the length of the tournament, I expect!

The Real Reason Why There Don’t Seem to Be Any Survivors for Child’s Play and FNAF

I bet you can tell how not normal I am about the fact that Seamus Harper’s actor played a fairly major role in one of the Child’s Play movies, considering the Child’s Play series universe has crossed over with FNAF through Dead By Daylight, and not only was his character — David Collins — canonically gay, but his personality and mannerisms were overall alot like Harper’s.

Anyway, since finally deciding to check that movie out, I’ve had this joke in mind of like…since the Child’s Play series and FNAF are both among the series that for some reason haven’t recieved any survivor characters yet, the real reason for that is that actually, the Entity from DBD had selected a victim/survivor from both worlds, but those two people just so happened to be David Collins and Michael Afton, and because Michael is bi and David is gay (and they both feel the Instinct™️ from my SeaMike headcanons in the main game universe) they end up falling in love and are actually just somewhere in one of those hiding spot cabinets making out the entire time the death matches are taking place. lol

(Also shoutout to Resident Evil’s Leon Kennedy, who is making a minor cameo in this comic while running for his life. lol)

Last on the Voice showcase for a long while, here’s another piece of the artwork I’ve made for my Slay the Princess themed AU (there’s a fic now; you can read it [here]!) of my beloved crossover ship — this time featuring my design for this AU’s version of Voice of the Cheated.

He had been the eleventh and final Voice to be finished — with Smitten, Hero, Opportunist, Stubborn, Broken, Hunted, Cold, Contrarian, Paranoid, and Skeptic preceding him, respectively — on around May 21st, 2025.

For his final design, I wanted to focus a lot on his pre-occupation with winning and treating everything like a rigged game, so I made him carry a lot of symbolism to do with a deck of playing cards. :3

Getting back on the Voice showcase again for a short while, here’s another piece of the artwork I’ve made for my Slay the Princess themed AU (there’s a fic now; you can read it [here]!) of my beloved crossover ship — this time featuring my design for this AU’s version of Voice of the Skeptic.

He had been the tenth Voice to be finished — with Smitten, Hero, Opportunist, Stubborn, Broken, Hunted, Cold, Contrarian, and Paranoid preceding him, respectively — on around May 19th, 2025.

For his final design, I wanted to give him the look of a stereotypical private detective, given his role as the Voice who is always questioning everything and trying to find out the real “truth” behind the things going on around him.

“Ah…hello, killer. To be honest, I was hoping I might see you again. I can’t say I’m too pleased about how our last meeting went…"

Back on track to the lighter themed designs, the next Vessel I want to show off from my Slay the Princess themed AU (there’s a fic now; you can read it [here]!) of my beloved crossover ship is this AU’s version of “The Spectre”.

This had been the fifth Vessel I had worked on, with the two Base versions of the Prince, the Interloper (AKA the Moment of Clarity), the Discarded (AKA the Nightmare), and the Wraith preceding him, and had been completed properly sometime probably roughly around May 19th, 2025.

For this Vessel’s final design, I wanted to deviate a bit from the Spectre’s all-white and inherently skeletal design to play with the idea of a Vessel who, for all intents and purposes, would look alive and well, were it not for his extreme pallor and the deep darkness beneath his eyes. I wanted him to look very kind, if a bit tired, just to further emphasize that terrifying shift when he actually would become capable of morphing his appearance into something more dead and terrifying if he felt the need to intimidate.

Dipping ever so briefly into the much clearer horror side of this story, the next Vessel I want to show off from my Slay the Princess themed AU (there’s a fic now; you can read it [here]!) of my beloved crossover ship is this AU’s version of “The Wraith”.

This had been the fourth Vessel I had worked on, with the two Base versions of the Prince, the Interloper (AKA the Moment of Clarity), and the Discarded (AKA the Nightmare) preceding him, and had been completed properly sometime probably roughly around May 17th, 2025.

For this Vessel’s final design, I wanted to remain fairly faithful to STP proper’s design of the Wraith overall, as I felt that the design was already in line with my vision to begin with, but I did add a very unique spin by including more of the Ennard body parts that we only saw a vague hint of in the Interloper, and putting a lot more emphasis on the animatronic’s intrusion into his form, with this being a far more decayed version of Michael reminiscent of what he likely had nearly become right before the robot finally left his body in FNAF and allowed the remnant to actually be able to properly do its job in repairing him.

Also, since he can also be reached through the Spectre route, you can see here that he has a much more torn up version of the shirt you will see Spectre wearing in his artwork. :)

Getting back on the Voice showcase again for a short while, here’s another piece of the artwork I’ve made for my Slay the Princess themed AU (there’s a fic now; you can read it [here]!) of my beloved crossover ship — this time featuring my design for this AU’s version of Voice of the Paranoid.

He had been the ninth Voice to be finished — with Smitten, Hero, Opportunist, Stubborn, Broken, Hunted, Cold, and Contrarian preceding him, respectively — on around May 14th, 2025.

For his final design, I really wanted to lean into how the cold and fear are often associated with one another, portraying him as someone who is constantly feeling “chilled” by the fear of the unknown, and thus dresses more warmly than any of the other Voices. There are other inspirations behind his overall appearance (if you know, you know, but also, pretend you don’t — it’s way too complicated to explain lol), but ultimately, I think that even those aspects that can be partly drawn from somewhere else fit well into the theme of fear: his hair being much fluffier fits well for the obvious reason (one’s hair standing on end when scared) and the unique paleness of its color not only brings to mind the image of a person being “pale as a ghost” with fear, but also symbolizes his individuality from literally all of the other voices — except perhaps Smitten — in terms of the excessive power he seems to exhibit.

A bit backwards of an order plot-wise, perhaps, but the next Vessel I’m going to show off from my Slay the Princess themed AU of my beloved crossover ship is this AU’s version of “The Nightmare” — or, as he’s known in this version of the story, “The Discarded”. (See my note in a previous post for a brief explanation on why names often vary in this AU.)

Since this piece contains some of the signature dark fog seen in the Nightmare branch of the Cabin routes, I elected to post a version both with and without that, in order to allow you to better appreciate the main part of the artwork. :)

This has been the third Vessel I had worked on, with the two Base versions of the Prince and the Interloper (AKA the Moment of Clarity) preceding him, and had been completed properly sometime probably roughly around May 11th.

For this Vessel’s final design, I wanted to remain fairly faithful to STP proper’s design of the Nightmare, as the discarded (porcelain) doll theme wasn’t incompatible either literally for FNAF, nor metaphorically for Michael’s life and existence, but actually worked rather well indeed for the route the Nightmare Cabins take. The only changes I made were to adjust for Michael’s preferred gender presentation, and to easily connect to the design for the Interloper.

Okay…yeah, he mighta blocked off all our options but the path to the Cabin, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still plenty a other ways we can ruin his day!

Continuing the Voice showcase, here’s another piece of the artwork I’ve made for my Slay the Princess themed AU of my beloved crossover ship — this time featuring my design for this AU’s version of Voice of the Contrarian.

He had been the eighth Voice to be finished — with Smitten, Hero, Opportunist, Stubborn, Broken, Hunted, and Cold preceding him, respectively — on around May 2nd, 2025.

For his final design, I knew I wanted to make him dress exactly the opposite way of what this AU’s version of the Narrator would want him to do (of course), and so I came to the conclusion that he should wear one of the main outfits that I frequently draw Michael (or rather, in this case, the Prince) sporting throughout his normal day-to-day life — purely to signify how much of a fan of his Contrarian is. ;) I also gave him a little devil’s tail, both for the obvious reason of being devious and mischievous, and also other reasons I might get into better in the in-depth design development discussion reblog.

Getting back on the Voice showcase again for a short while, here’s another piece of the artwork I’ve made for my Slay the Princess themed AU of my beloved crossover ship — this time featuring my design for this AU’s version of Voice of the Cold.

He had been the seventh Voice to be finished — with Smitten, Hero, Opportunist, Stubborn, Broken, and Hunted preceding him, respectively — on around April 27th, 2025.

For his final design, I wanted to draw inspiration from one of Seamus’ canonical alternate universe versions of himself in Andromeda (2000, TV Series) — namely, the one in which he becomes very much like the Voice of the Cold in terms of attitude — and use that design as the representation of his inner coldness. (*Clearly holding back an entire ramble about how much I love his canon alt-self and what it says about greatest his inner fears lol*)

Getting back on the Voice showcase again for a short while, here’s another piece of the artwork I’ve made for my Slay the Princess themed AU of my beloved crossover ship — this time featuring my design for this AU’s version of Voice of the Hunted.

This had been the sixth Voice to be finished — with Smitten, Hero, Opportunist, Stubborn, and Broken preceding him, respectively — on around April 10th, 2025 (though some last finalizations and line clean up happened sometime around April 23rd, 2025).

For Hunted’s final design, as someone driven purely by instinct, I wanted to actually differ greatly from the more outdoors-y design that most give him, and focus instead on the nature of his being, choosing to give him an outfit very relevant to his and Michael’s shared past in this AU’s greater backstory. (Which, for plot, ease, and spoiler purposes, I won’t address at this time. lol)

With his final design, I wanted to give the appearance of someone who has been subjected to numerous scrapes and wounds — torn and tattered and scarred by all that he had seen.

Showing off another Vessel in my Slay the Princess themed AU of my beloved crossover ship, here we have this AU’s version of “The Moment of Clarity” — or, as he’s known in this version of the story, “The Interloper”. (In this AU, all Cabin names and Vessel names are entirely separate — so while “The Moment of Clarity” remains the name of the Cabin and its “chapter”, the Prince’s Vessel is instead called “The Interloper”. Yes, there is a thematical and plot related reason for this choice. :) But some of it is spoilers, so mum’s the word on that. ;))

Since this piece contains some of the signature dark fog seen in the Nightmare branch of the Cabin routes, I elected to post a version both with and without that, in order to allow you to better appreciate the main part of the artwork. :)

This has been the second Vessel I had worked on, with the two Base versions of the Prince preceding him, and had been completed properly sometime probably roughly around April 8th, after the Voices of Smitten, Hero, Opportunist, and Stubborn had all mostly been finished.

For this Vessel’s final design, I wanted to remain somewhat faithful to STP proper’s design of the Moment of Clarity, but also add many key differences relating to the theme behind his title — which, avoiding as many spoilers as possible, sort of relates more to STP’s original design for the Stranger: an inhuman entity puppeting the skin of a human, while also harkening back to Michael’s own FNAF origins and one of the major ordeals he went through (namely, the time Ennard climbed inside and puppeted Michael’s body).
