My finished footballer print of @manchesterunited Portugal star @brunofernandes.10 . The photograph I worked from with the finished piece. I remembered to reverse the colours of the national flag this time which I got wrong on my proof prints. It’s hard making a portrait from a lino block ,but I think I may have cracked it. Unsure though about the grainy texture on the tracksuit though. Wip on a new linocut project I've just started. Creating street scenes within in the city of my hometown York. The study of architectural and buildings of interests, York Castle or clifford's Tower. Started with a sketch in biro on lino block, then the carving progress has began.
