Linsey Harris

Linsey Harris was born in Atlanta, GA, raised in Richmond, VA, and is a proud mother of three children. She began writing poetry when she was thirteen, and she instantly discovered her passion for writing. She learned to utilize poetry as an outlet for built-up anger, hurt, and emotions. As with most, at a very young age many children don’t know how to articulate how they’re feeling into words. They’re too afraid of what someone might say. Afraid of what someone may think, or how the way they are feeling is going to be perceived. Linsey has always had a hard time being a little too rough with her tone, her words, and coming across a little too straight forward with people. Therefore, writing has seemed to help her express herself in a calmer and more receivable fashion. While her writing continues to evolve she has learned how to use her experiences with life as stepping stones. Through time, Linsey has experienced different types of hurt, different types of struggles, and this helped her to be able to share a bit of her life with you. She prays that some of the things she has gone through over the years will possibly help others mentally, emotionally, and in some way help someone get through those day to day real life situations we all experience.
