i think the funniest and realist thing i’ve realized lately is how troubling idealization can be. every person is just… a person. the very people you want to impress or be apart of are just people. even if they seem wildly intimidating because of the way they look or because of their reputation, every one is just a person. human. as embarrassing, as remorseful and they are going through stages of growth just like you are. we only see what we want to see and then drown ourselves further in our own depression and we don’t have to.

In honor of the album’s release, this is the Going Grey Net, made to celebrate The Front Bottoms new music!!!

(This is my second attempt to get this off the ground, if you already filled out an application you don’t need to fill out another one!!)

ABOUT This is a net designed for people to meet others with similar music tastes from across the country or even the globe. The aim is to connect people to others who are excited for and supportive of The Front Bottoms new music. Every time I break up with someone there’s a piece of me missing that I know I can’t have anymore. I’m not sure if I’m better off without those pieces, but they’re gone and that’s that.

I always fuck things up, it’s not a fractured relationship it’s broken and can never be revisited. No contact ever. It fucks me up inside that people who were once so special to me either hate me or want to be strangers forever. I feel pathetic bc I’ve tried to reach out to one person on a few occasions and I feel so ashamed that my messages just went unattended to. Am I that toxic person people want to block out of their lives?
