Your hair on my arms as I wrapped them around you, your sigh on my cheek.

If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.
A.A. Milne (via ruineshumaines)
and I feel a bit guilty about that...
It looks good from to to bottom...side to side, right to left, around and around.
I was tasked with adding another groups system into my existing facility monitoring system. An outside vendor installed and programmed it. They also turned off BOOTP. Thus, I am unable to communicate with it via a TCP. I spent nearly a day trying everything short of building a serial cable and connecting to it on the COM port. If a contractor installs a PLC, PAC, or any black box device, make sure you know the communication protocol and the settings. Or, you will waste your time, like I did with no results.
web module versus module
web module allows operator to log on to web page for configuration and IO.
enet module guaranteed for interfacing OPC to DAQ LAN without interfering with contractors ladder logic.
will borrow Cryo’s web module and demo it with RS Linx OPC to OPC Canary Labs
All day at work this is what I deal with for you Electrical Engineers and nerds out there
Me too. I see you found my online notes. I need them when I am unable to get to my electronic log book.
So many systems. Not enough brain cells to remember all the little details.
I love my job.

Stardust … to which we shall return
This is an animated story about Voyager 1, the farthest man-made object from Earth, and currently making its way out of our solar system. We (and it) were born of cosmic dust and gas that condensed to form our planet and its neighbors about 4.6 billion years ago. When our Sun swells to a red giant, we shall return to dust again. Perhaps we will be reborn as a comet, or rogue asteroid, or nothing at all.
This is what will become of Earth. But do not despair, because our atoms will live on, as will the body of our creation, Voyager 1, and likely many others. Were it not long dead by that time, its power source spent, it could look back upon the remnants of the Pale Blue Dot it most famously captured and witness our return to dust. No matter our fate, it carries upon it our image and our message forever, on a plate of gold, a letter to the stars that will never be dust.
I just can’t attach enough adjectives to this video from PostPanic Studios. That solar animation! Wow! It’s beautiful, stunning, amazing and wonderful. Watch it in full screen and do enjoy :)
What about all our art? Language? Poetry? Music? Film? Even if we shoot it all out into space in some preservationist capsule and by some miracle a creature of unknown origin curiously picks it up… It will be meaningless to them Even the immortal fucking Shakespeare will be gone. “Everything has a time and everything dies” - The Doctor.Â

Me when I woke up this morning.
I will put that off until tomorrow.
My electronic log book...AKA as a place to store random thoughts saves the day again. When I can't get to the elog I use Tumblr. I love you tumblr.
Paper review have gone electronic. Read it yesterday and made comments with a pen. He wants me to make corrections in Word. I don't know about y'all, but I end up striking through most everything and am unable to undo my changes. I'm an open office gal except when I am paid.
