Here's a summary of basic information about my precious boy - Yukichi Shirakawa, aka Yuu, aka potato, aka herbivore, aka little possum~
I will list the main info and interesting facts, and at the end there will be a short story about Yukichi's life, so if you are interested in his background, be sure to read this ♡
1. Fluffy Ears Guy!
Leona is really annoyed by Yuu's clinginess and curiosity, which doesn't stop the possum from constantly visiting Savanaclaw in order to get on Kingscolar's nerves. Despite the fact that he understands well when a person needs rest or support, Yuu is happy to annoy those who are permanently sullen and grumpy.
Yukichi's logic is quite simple: "If he doesn't like me, I won't leave him alone until he gets used to me"
Maybe he's just looking for the weak spot to understand people better and finally make them smile
2. Papa Vil
Yukichi lives for the present, guided by emotions and doesn't burden himself with complex psychological or philosophical thoughts. If he feels loved and safe around someone he will behave the way his heart wants: like a child
Yes, he's not much younger than Vil, but he was a stranger in his own house and an enemy to his own mother — if all children deserve to be happy, then the age difference is just a minor little detail
3. Unwanted
Yuu's father left the family when Yuu was about 12. Before that, throughout his son's life, the man did not understand how to behave, was afraid of make things worse and did not feel like a father, so he behaved with Yuu in a detached and sometimes a little aggressive manner. Yukichi has grown up and clings to people who suddenly behave coldly or close themselves off from him because he is afraid that they will leave. He doesn't like being alone because he feels like everyone has abandoned him.
So, despite the difficulties in communicating at first, Yukichi tries to take care of Grimm, as if trying to make up for what he never felt himself.
4. Home
Yukichi is just a lost kitten who was not given enough love and warmth, and who found it all in Twisted Wonderland. He didn't understand anything about his world, he doesn't understand anything about this one, but now he has found a family
— A brief story of Yukichi's life
Yuu grew up a kind and sensitive child, it was difficult for him to communicate with his peers, but he always tried to be closer to people and had a positive outlook on life. Despite the difficulties in communication, Yukichi perfectly understood other people's feelings and emotions, so from an early age he became interested in music and singing, which fascinated him and allowed him to understand the human world better.
Yukichi's mother, Miyu, played an important role in this. She dreamed of becoming an opera singer all her life, and therefore put the love of music into her son from his birth. But the happiness of Yuu's parents was fragile from the very beginning and was built perhaps only on Miyu's pink glasses, the relationship deteriorated rapidly, and when Yuu's father left the family, Miyu forbade her son to sing. Yuu reminded her too much of her husband, and she couldn't let "the traitor who ruined her dream and left continue to mock her."
When Yukichi got to Twisted Wonderland, the first thing he thought about was that he had abandoned his mother, just as his father had once done.
But there was something that changed his life a lot, or rather, someone. Yuu and Vil quickly found an approach to each other, and very soon Yukichi found in Schoenheit everything that he lacked - understanding, protection, inspiration. A family.
Yukichi couldn't understand and realize his mother's dream, but the embodiment of this dream stood in front of him and extended a hand. Vil is something that Yukichi's own family did not give him, Vil is something that Yuu admired all his life, but with a human face.
This little possum still carries guilt and longing inside him, but at least he understood for sure: he needs Vil like nothing else in all existing worlds.

Myth&Legend Lovers Club is run by Sherra, my other OC. She teaches the subject of Magical Fauna, and at club meetings they study creatures from legends and fairy tales, as well as build theories and delve into the study of nature
• Interesting detail
The connection between Vil and Yukichi also takes place for the reason that Yukichi, according to my idea, is Yuu of chapter 5 of the manga Twisted Wonderland. Therefore, their stories have things in common, although with different developments

Seems like I forgot to show you the art I made for 4th anniversary of Yukichi and Tim's adoption, SORRY, it was in march 6, four years ago, when I realised that I saw Vil as a father figure, and so i made this day our joint (unofficial) adoption day YAAAY

I'd say yes, due to his childhood traumas and constant stress, Yukichi not only grew up to be quite frail and short for his age, but it also affected his mental state. Similar to how some children have to grow up early due to difficult family circumstances, Yukichi also learned to take care of himself, but mentally, he seemed to ignore the negative aspects of life and lived in a world of rose-colored glasses
Also, his parents never talked to him about serious topics and did not invest time in helping their son explore the world, Yukichi was often ill and had poor contact with peers, and as a result grew up almost alone, very isolated from the rest of the world. This is also not counting the fact that his mother's rather controversial lifestyle influenced his development even during pregnancy
Now, I think his behavior comes from a lack of attention, awkwardness in interacting with people, and a whole bunch of traumas related to his mother
