Hihi guys! I'll be dropping all my characters in AURP due to lack of time. I'm busy with school and I'm modding a few groups. This isn't goodbye forever though! It's more like a see you later. Thanks and goodbye!

"Someone actually replied?" Ayame stared at the screen in wonder. She had set the profile up as a joke and had no initial intention of using it. The profile had, after all, been the result of a dare. "I-I-No, never mind that. What's with this gross pick up line?"
Aya-chi: No, I'm sorry you are mistaken.

A baby
Out of everything Ayame had planned to do today, she had never thought she would be stuck babysitting someone else's child. The mother had to run out because of an emergency at work that turned into a long series of meetings and had asked Ayame to babysit for her. As the mother was a regular at Book Joint, she was fairly acquainted with the student and certain that she could handle her daughter. Ayame was unable to decline and was now stuck in the book store with a baby.
Rocking the child back and forth, she sung to the crying child, trying to soothe its wailing. "Hush little baby, don't say a word. I'm gonna buy you a mocking bird..." The lullaby was in English but the tone was soft and comforting. As the child quieted, Ayame spotted Lavi approaching the store. Putting a finger to her lips as he entered to warn him, she motioned him to come forward. Giving him the baby, she whispered softly to him. "Just hold her for a bit, I need to get her bottle." With that, she left and began to rummage through the bag the child's mother had left her.

Frosted windows peeked into a dim apartment room, the area immaculate yet cozy. Simple white and black minimalist furniture was paired with similarly colored bean bags, though color was breathed into the room by flowers and small ornaments. Dissimilar to the surrounding furniture was a clothed table seated on a circular rug. A plug snaked across the floor to lay sleeping a few inches from the outlet. In the darkness, a fridge hummed to life, a slumbering dragon's mechanical snoring falling into the rhythm composed by the ticking clock. As the apartment livened with sound, the bedroom door creaked open to acknowledge the inevitable morning. Hair disheveled and eyes narrowed in the morning light muted by thick curtains, Ayame walked into her living room sluggishly. Suppressing a shudder, she yawned and watched as her breath steamed in the air. Clothed only in an over-sized shirt and shorts, the cold came to her as a cruel and inescapable awakening, running over her skin in a frigid ever present caress. Warm bunny slippers hugged her sensitive feet as she walked to the light switch. Flicking the lights on, Ayame immediately shut her eyes. "No." Her denial was instantaneous. Even with nine hours of sleep the night prior, her head was too groggy for any thoughts besides the basic needs of eat and sleep. On weekends, Ayame's official mornings don't start until after she's eaten breakfast and changed. The time between waking and eating were mindless moments of robotic actions done on routine. Her thoughts during such times were usually of climbing back into bed and wishing breakfast could cook itself. As the pain of the bright light confronting her eyelids lessened, the brunette slowly regained her mobility. She had been standing at the light switch, balancing herself against the wall as her vision adjusted for a minute without much movement. Brushing away the curtain of hair hanging over her face and combing her hair back with her hand, she acquainted herself with the artificial lights and headed to the kitchen.
Eggs and bacon sizzled in a frying pan, the appetizing scent diffused through the apartment. Ayame favored Japanese food compared to the American breakfast but she afforded herself a certain amount of laziness when cooking her own breakfast. Soup simmered in a pot net to the pan and Ayame was once again reminded of her gratitude for whoever created instant miso soup packets. They were cheap and convenient, perfect for days such as this one. Turning the stove off, she slid her bacon and eggs onto a plate and ladled her soup into a bowl before walking carefully to the kotatsu. Once the food was placed onto the table, she leaned forward on her knees and inserted the connector tips into the outlet. Hiding her legs underneath the heavy blanket, she sighed in contentment. Instead of heating her whole apartment, Ayame had opted for buying a kotatsu and moving all her work there. The money she saved was transferred to her allowance for games and the like. Sipping her soup, Ayame glanced at the package she had picked up the day prior. It had been delivered to her doorstep and contained a game and a console. She had yet to boot it up. "Let's see..." Reaching over to pick up the Spiran, she turned the device on and began to play. [Avatar Creation: Please hold the Spiran at arm's length.] Following the orders written on the screen, Ayame stood and held the Spiran at arm's length. The loading screen appeared once again but was quickly replaced by an image of her. The game had somehow created an avatar based on her own appearance. Eyes widening in amazement, Ayame found her seat again and continued to customize her character with a new found interest. Settings Text:Normal Microphone: Yes Character Name: Aya-chi Class: Mage Sub-Class: Healer Using the nickname Naoki had given her, Ayame began to build her avatar. She favored the Mage class as well as the Healing sub-class, though she did debate on becoming a Summoner. Still, healing spells were handy in both parties and when playing solo. Satisfied with her character's dress and staff design, she started the game. "This...isn't this my street?" Murmuring her confusion, Ayame pressed on, directing her character to the glowing exclamation mark that marked a tutorial quest. "Ahh, I wonder what sort of game this'll be."
