Got tired of my Minecraft blog being a side blog so I made this one :D

i will never stop people from hating a minecraft white boy (especially one who drives a tesla) but i do think its funny when i see hermitcraft fans hate grian for "being clique-y" or "ignoring the smaller hermits" . like. you mean the guy who starts server wide games every season? the guy who uploaded a 7 hour world tour? frankly for being one of the most popular guys on the server i think he does try to pull his weight sharing the love. unfortunately theres only so much you can do to try and lure an average grian subscriber into watching joe hills. thats like taking a mcdonalds loving 7 year old to a niche concept restaraunt that only serves meals in the shape of 1:1 scale models. actually this metaphor sucks if i was 7 i would love to eat an edible 1:1 scale pinball machine. i would love that now. post cancelled im organising a joe hills themed pop up café. everyone come with me. see my vision.

So Wilbur said the orange uniform he wore on his first day of the server was his convenience store uniform. You know who else wore that uniform? Techno, Phil, and CPK in MCC 7

The three later joined the server and are, presumably, also from Utah.

Techno and Phil became friends though their time in the military and eventually started a convenience store together. Phil employed his son, Wilbur, but Wilbur wasn’t that into it so he left for the dsmp.

Wilbur enlisted the help of Technoblade due to his military experience, not wanting his father to know about the hot mess he got himself into. Of course, Phil’s crows tattled and he flew to L’Manberg.

Phil is possibly Mormon, due to having both the fridge wife and Kristin. He moved to Utah from England to marry them. That’s why he and Wilbur have the accent and why Wilbur is,, y’know

Hot take but ideas like “it doesn’t matter how obvious it is, you should always tag stuff as /rp” is the reason reading comprehension on the internet is so low

I made a post about how Quackity was manipulating the members of Las Nevadas. I got plenty of comments saying they thought I was accusing the real Quackity of being a manipulator before they finished reading the post. But see, they were able to infer I wasn’t talking about the real Quackity despite me not using the labels c!/cc!//rp because I directly referenced things like Sam running the prison, Slimecicle not being human, and Las Nevadas in general. I didn’t need to clarify those things because the post carried the context on its own.

It’s okay to let people infer things. It’s okay to let people read context clues for themselves. (Especially here on tumblr where we have an obvious tagging system for posts specifically about the dream smp). Unless it is not overtly obvious in the post that what you are saying is about characters, you probably don’t need to clarify that it is.

If somebody draws a picture of Dream beaten and bloody in a prison outfit, there is literally no need to put some sort of bold /rp disclaimer in the post because we can all tell that’s about c!Dream. Even people who have no context whatsoever would still probably be able to reason that cc!Dream isn’t in prison or something. I get the concern about Dream saying he doesn’t want to see gore of himself as a real person, but I promise reading comprehension is a real and valuable skill and harassing people for not putting a bold roleplay disclaimer when drawing Dream with a mouth in his stomach or a void face with too many eyes is redundant.
