we alllll know barty is Mr. Manipulative in his relationships, but with lily it becomes strange because she catches him every time. he’ll try to redirect conversations or charm his way out of accountability and she’ll just stare at him deadpan until he caves with a petulant frown. he complains she’s “immune to narrative framing” and she hits him and tells him sincerely that he’s a piece of shit.

Bellatrix and Sirius. They were BEST friends. I will die on this hill that I have ALWAYS been on because??? The ANGST. They tried to separate their differences in Azkaban to muster up ANY remotely happy memories and try to not COMPLETELY lose their santy. They talked and laughed and fought like kids all over again. As children they play fought and threw hexes and curses at eachother all the time. In OOTP, they were playing again. Fighting the others side but NOT trying to KILL eachother. Bella doesnt try to Avada Kedavra him, because she didnt mean to kill him. she fully expected him to block it and throw another lIke always, but one moment of distraction and standing in a horrible spot caused him to miss it, get hit, and fall through the veil. I like to think that Bellatrix mourned him, in secret and deeeep down of course. Because she WASNT always crazy, and she DID love him dearly, if only really in the past. All happy childhood memories were TOGETHER.

How anyone could ever hate or even dislike jily is so beyond me. I saw a jegulus shipper one time say that they don’t ship jily because “they would never work in canon” and while I don’t hate jegulus shippers (I DO hate jegulus as a ship) that is the most INSANE take ever considering Jily DOES work in canon. You can not tell me that they weren’t soulmates. They were both madly in love with eachother. Saying that they wouldn’t work because they had a baby and got married young is crazy work, especially since that’s WHY you don’t ship them? But you ship jegulus?? Do you then think that Jegulus WOULD work on canon? Because again, I don’t hate the shippers, in fact a lot of art or videos or writings about them that I’ve seen are AMAZING, but you cannotttt say that they could work CANONICALLY. “Uhm the fandom is not built on canon” then how is that your REASON to hate on my babies? Does any of this make sense? Who knows, but I am tired and emotional about jily always.
