Background Image

I picked Moon for this one and half-way through realized it was a terrible idea hehehe.

Typically I color-pick from the background image while painting (unless there's dominant lighting, where i'll grab colors and make a unified palette.) However, this background had NO BLUE! But many yellows and reds to pick from, which would have made an easy Sun.. Thus, I had to build my own blues! I think it turned out okay.

Also, enjoy the bones I used for painting, one of the silliest poses I've made, I think!

Sunny! Been trying to figure out the proportions of his face and body (as usual). I've discovered that at some point I unconsciously decided that my art is only good if it's digital, and I am now trying to reverse that mentality. Turns out it's a lot easier for me to draw with paper and pencil. Does wonders for art block.
