Thinking about the Justice League being paralysed by diplomatic rules, so when a delegate starts hitting on Bruce and harassing him, they can't do anything if they want negotiations preventing an invasion of Earth to go forward.
Omega Bruce, snapping when the alien alpha drags him close and waxes about mating him as a diplomacy gift. Shoving the alien away, announcing he is already mated and doesn't intend to change that. The alien, Prince Khala, just smirks, and draws away the fabric covering Bruce's collarbone, baring the bite mark there.
"So you are," he purrs, and yanks Bruce close. "We'll see if this alpha is as loyal to you as you are to him, then," he suggests, and they disappear.
The JL can't stop them, and are left reeling as Bruce is kidnapped. Reaching out the the kingdom just rewards them with a simple 'Batman's alpha must be the one to collect him' before communication is cut.
The Bats are reluctantly informed as the Justice League travels back to Eath, and Talia is quickly called. "Will you be comfortable leaving Earth to collect Bruce?" Clark asks, and Talia frowns.
"I am not Bruce's alpha."
"What?" Damian bursts. "Father said—"
"Your father asked years ago that I pretend to be the source of his mating bite. I do not know who gave it to him."
Khoa is contacted. He sneers Bruce was mated before they ever met, and is hung up on mid jealous rant.
All of Bruce's exes are cycled through, starting with the ones when he was younger, before he left for training, all the way to his most recent, just in case there is a correlation, but they find nothing, and it's been three days since Bruce was taken.
Someone makes the queasy guess that if Bruce was that young when he mated, then maybe....but the idea is ignored to be returned to as a last resort.
To avoid that idea, the Justice League calls a press conference. "Bruce Wayne has been taken as a war bride. His alpha has been challenged to come forward and lay claim to him, please contact us if that is you."
The world is in uproar. Gotham is rioting in the streets. Governments are yanking the Justice League into meetings to see if they need to prepare for an invasion. Alphas flock to the Hall of Justice, claiming to be the alpha in question, and the Justice League are getting sick of the false claims they have to disprove individually before sending them away.
They've sent all of the alphas away, the reporters have packed up and left and the League heads back inside to regroup and think of a new plan, when the front desk informs them the GCPD has just reached out, they're inbound with a prisoner transport, only minutes away. The League traipses down to the underground car park concerned about what Gotham police needs the Justice League to contain. It's rare, but it happens, even internationally sometimes.
The convoy screeches in, lights flashing, cars surrounding the prisoner van on every side. Gordon steps out, shouting orders, and guns are levelled at the back of the van as the doors open.
They're expecting an alien. A monster. A lab experiment gone wrong.
They don't expect Two-Face to step out, half-feral, shackled and muzzled.
"Take me to Bruce," he growls from behind the muzzle.
