Summary: The team thinks you're pregnant... why not have a little fun with them...
a/n: I think it's kinda obvious: I'm officially in my dad!hotch era and have sooo many ideas with this theme! Do you love it as much as I do? Do you want mooooore? đȘ»
Being a member of the BAU often meant everyone on the team knew too much about each other. Spending countless hours together on cases and long flights left little room for privacy. Still, you hadnât anticipated the whirlwind of chaos that erupted the moment they thought you were pregnant.
It started innocently enough, but as the speculation snowballed, it took on a life of its ownâand the last person you expected to weigh in was Aaron Hotchner.
It began one morning at work, after a particularly rough case had kept alle of you up most of the night. You were leaning against the counter in the kitchenette, pouring yourself a cup of herbal tea instead of your usual coffee.
JJ appeared beside you, eyebrows raised. âTea? Since when do you drink tea?â
You shrugged. âJust felt like it today.â
She tilted her head, studying you. âAre you feeling okay?â
âYeah, Iâm fine,â you said, a little confused by her sudden concern.
âHmm,â she said, a soft smile tugging at her lips. âWell, let me know if you need anything.â
You didnât think much of it until later that afternoon, when Garcia cornered you at your desk.
âYou know, youâve been looking absolutely radiant lately,â she said, her tone suspiciously sweet.
You glanced up at her. âUh⊠thanks?â
âIâm serious,â she said, her eyes sparkling with something that looked a lot like mischief. âThereâs just this⊠glow about you.â
âI think youâre imagining things,â you said, trying not to laugh.
âOh, I donât think so,â she said, winking at you before flouncing off.
---
By the end of the day, the comments were piling up.
Emily handed you her snack halfway through the afternoon. âHere, you should eat this. You need to keep your strength up.â
âWhy?â you asked, raising an eyebrow.
She just smiled knowingly and walked away.
Even Rossi got in on the act, offering you unsolicited advice about âbalancing work and family lifeâ while Derek kept smirking at you like he knew something you didnât.
It wasnât until you overheard JJ and Emily whispering in the break room that you finally pieced it together.
âDo you think sheâs told Hotch yet?â JJ asked.
Emily shook her head. âNo way. But he has to know, right? I mean, theyâve been spending a lot of time together.â
You froze, you teacup halfway to your lips.
They thought you were pregnant.
At first, you were too stunned to say anything. But the more you thought about it, the funnier it became.
You werenât pregnant, obviously. But the team had convinced themselves otherwise, and their attempts at subtlety were laughable at best.
You decided not to deny it outright. If they wanted to jump to conclusions, who were you to stop them? Besides, watching them tiptoe around the subject was too entertaining to pass up.
Of course, your plan backfired almost immediately...
The teasing began the next morning, when Derek caught you yawning during the morning briefing.
âRough night?â he asked, a sly grin spreading across his face.
You shot him a look. âNot any rougher than yours, Morgan.â
âSure, sure,â he said, holding up his hands in mock surrender. âIâm just saying, you should take it easy. You know, for the... baby.â
The room went silent.
You felt your face heat up as everyone turned to look at you, their expressions ranging from curious to downright amused.
âThe what?â Hotch asked, his tone sharp.
Derek froze, clearly realizing heâd overstepped. âUh⊠no baby. I was just joking.â
Hotchâs gaze flickered to you, his dark eyes narrowing slightly. âIs there something I should know?â
You opened your mouth to respond, but Garcia beat you to it.
âOh, no, sir,â she said, grinning nervously. âEverythingâs fine. Totally fine.â
Hotch looked unconvinced, but he didnât press the issue. "We'll talk later about it."
The rest of the day was a blur of teasing comments and stolen glances. By lunchtime, you were ready to tear your hair out.
Garcia kept hovering around your desk, offering me snacks and bottles of water. JJ asked if you needed help with your workload. And Emily⊠well, Emily just smirked at you every time you passed her in the hallway.
You did y best to ignore them, but it wasnât easy. Especially when Hotch kept looking at you like he was trying to solve a particularly difficult puzzle.
It all came to a head that evening, after we wrapped up a meeting in Hotchâs office.
You were gathering your things when he closed the door behind you, leaning against it with his arms crossed.
âIs there something you want to tell me?â he asked, his voice low.
You looked up at him, your heart skipping a beat. âWhat do you mean?â
âThe team seems to think youâre⊠expecting,â he said, his brow furrowing slightly.
You couldnât help but laugh. âTheyâve got some pretty wild imaginations, donât they?â
He didnât smile. âSo, itâs not true?â
âOf course not,â you said, shaking your head. âWhy would you even think that?â
âBecause they wonât stop talking about it,â he said, his tone tinged with exasperation. âAnd you havenât denied it.â
You hesitated, suddenly feeling a little guilty. âI didnât mean for it to get out of hand. I just⊠didnât correct them.â
He raised an eyebrow. âWhy not?â
âBecause it was funny,â you admitted, shrugging.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. âYouâre impossible.â
You smiled, stepping closer to him. âBut you love me anyway.â
He stared at you for a moment, his expression softening. âI do,â he said quietly.
Your breath caught in your throat.
âAnd for the record,â he added, his voice even lower, âI wouldnât mind if it were true.â
Your heart skipped a beat. âYou wouldnât?â
He shook his head, a small smile tugging at his lips. âNot at all.â
You felt your cheeks heat up, a rush of emotions swelling in your chest. âWell,â you said softly, âmaybe someday.â
âSomeday,â he agreed, pulling you into his arms.
---
The next morning, when Derek made another joke about baby names, you couldnât help but laugh.
âYouâre all ridiculous,â you said, shaking your head.
Summary: They finally confess and are no longer two fools...
One evening, after a long case and a late night in the bullpen, you passed him a cup of coffee and said, âYou ever think about... just saying screw it and going after what you want?â
Hotch looked up at you, his expression unreadable at firstâuntil that familiar, soft warmth bloomed behind his eyes.
âEvery day,â he said quietly.
Your hand brushed his, and this time, he didnât pull away.
There was a pause.
A breath.
You blinked. For a second, it didnât feel real. For months, your feelings had lived in silenceâwoven between shared glances and gentle teasing, folded into the way you brushed fingers or lingered too long in conversation. Youâd told yourself he didnât feel the same. Couldnât. Wouldnât. He was Aaron Hotchner. Older, guarded, impossibly composed.
But now...
You stepped closer. The silence pressed in, thick with everything neither of you had said.
âHotch,â you whispered. âWhat are we doing?â
His eyes dropped to the desk. A long breath left him like it had been sitting in his chest for years.
âIâve been trying to stay on this impossible line,â he said quietly. âTrying to be your boss. Your friend. Pretending I donât feel everything I feel every time I see you.â
You watched him, heart thudding hard enough to hurt.
âI didnât want to ruin what we have,â he said. âDidnât want to be... selfish. Youâre young. You have your whole life ahead of you. And Iââ He broke off. âIâve got baggage. A son. A dangerous job. I didnât want you to feel trapped in something that comes with a thousand warning signs.â
âYou think I donât know that?â you asked softly. âYou think I havenât thought about every single one of those things?â
He looked at you, finally meeting your gazeâand in that second, he looked completely undone. Raw. Like he wasnât SSA Aaron Hotchner, head of the BAU. Just a manâtired, in love, and terrified.
âIâm not scared of your baggage,â you said. âIâm scared of losing you to your silence.â
His breath caught. âYou have no idea what you mean to me,â he said. âSometimes I look at you and thinkâGod, if she knew, if she really knew how deep this goes, sheâd run.â
âI wonât,â you said, stepping even closer now. Your voice trembled, but your eyes didnât leave his. âIâve been walking through fire for you and pretending it didnât burn. Iâve been in love with you, Hotch. Quietly. Desperately. I want my life to be by your side, and itâs been killing me not to say it.â
He stared at you, frozenâlike one wrong move would wake him from this.
âI want to wake up with you,â you continued, voice cracking. âI want to be the one you come home to after every hard day. I want the coffee in the morning and the quiet in the evening and every second in between.â
Hotch stood. Slowly. Carefully. Like he was approaching a moment that could shatter if he moved too fast.
He stopped a breath away. His hand brushed yours, barely there.
âYouâre everything I didnât know I was allowed to want,â he said.
And thenâfinally, after months of dancing around a flame neither of you dared touchâhe leaned in. Not with urgency, but with reverence. Like the mere act of being this close was sacred.
His forehead rested against yours.
âI donât want to hide this anymore,â he whispered. âNot from you. Not from myself.â
You closed your eyes, your heart finally quiet for the first time in months.
âThen donât.â
He kissed you like heâd been waiting a lifetime. And maybe he had. And maybe you had too.
And when the moment broke, when he pulled you against his chest and buried his face in your hair, you held on like it was the most natural thing in the world.
"hotch on the line" it was incredibly funny i loved that Morgan was so gossipy đ and we absolutely love a slightly nervous Hotch đ€
i don't know if you're accepting requests, but the part where Hotch doesn't really know where their relationship stands gave me an idea, I'm going to leave it here for you, don't worry if you don't want to write it,it's okay if you ignore it.đ«¶đ»
how about a Hotch completely in love with the reader and all the time thinking 'I want absolutely everything with her'đ„č and he sees her all the time with a lovestruck face and puppy eyes but he doesn't say anything to her because he's afraid of scaring her.
But at the same time the reader is thinking 'I want my whole life to be by his side' but her doesn't say anything because he doesn't want to scare him :(
In the end they are just two fools in loveđ«¶đ»đ«¶đ»
An extra point if she is a little younger đ„č
Only if you feel comfortable, if you can't ignore it.!!

Aaron Hotchner had faced down serial killers, negotiated with madmen, and walked through fire for the people he cared about. But nothing rattled him like you.
You were the newest member of the BAU, youngâmid-twentiesâand brilliant in ways that left even Reid impressed. But what caught Aaron off guard wasnât your intellect. It was your laugh. The way you tilted your head when you teased him. The look in your eyes when you handed him a coffee without him asking, somehow always knowing exactly how he liked it.
He told himself it was harmless. Flirting. Maybe even just team camaraderie. But every time your fingers brushed his when passing files, every time you tossed a joke over your shoulder and smirked like you were daring him to flirt back, something in him caved. And every time he saw you smile at someone else, jealousy curled low in his stomach like a guilty fire.
He was in love with you. Fully, irreversibly, embarrassingly in love.
And yet he said nothing.
He watched you with what Rossi once called âthe most lovesick expression he'd ever seen on a grown man.â He looked at you like you hung the stars. But he couldn't say it. Not when he thought he might ruin everything.
You deserved someone your age. Someone without the baggage of a broken marriage, the constant risk of his job, and the thousand ways he could disappoint you.
Meanwhile, you sat two desks away, barely pretending to focus on your report while sneaking glances at him. You werenât subtle, but then again, neither was he. You knew that look in his eyes when he thought no one was watching. You felt it in the way his voice softened when he spoke to you, in the way he always lingered near, like a man who didnât want to walk away but didnât know how to stay.
God, you wanted everything with him. A future. A home. Waking up beside him, hearing his voice in the morning, knowing he was yours. But every time you thought about saying it, your heart pounded with fear.
What if he didnât feel the same? What if he didâbut it was too complicated?
So you stayed quiet.
And he stayed quiet.
Two fools. Two hearts wrapped in caution and silent yearning.

Summary: The team is onto your secret, because Hotch is becoming extra careful with you at work...
Aaron Hotchner wasnât exactly known for being loud and obvious. Youâd gotten used to the small, quiet ways he expressed his emotionsâan encouraging glance across the bullpen, a quick touch on your back as you passed in the hall. But now? Now, it was like a switch had flipped.
It had only been a couple of weeks since you found out you were pregnant, and Aaron had gone into full-blown âPapa Bearâ mode. He was constantly checking on you, making sure you were eating, sleeping, and avoiding anything remotely stressful. And while you loved him for it, you were starting to worry that the team might notice.
You hadnât told them yet. You wanted to wait until you were further along, but that was proving to be a challengeâmostly because Aaronâs protectiveness was starting to verge on the obvious.
It started that morning when you walked into the bullpen with a coffee in hand.
âY/N,â Aaron said, his voice sharp as he appeared beside you.
âWhat?â you asked, blinking up at him.
He reached for the cup in your hand, frowning. âDecaf, right?â
You hesitated for a split second too long.
âY/N.â His tone was softer now, but the warning was clear.
âYes. Itâs decaf,â you said, rolling your eyes.
He gave you a look that said he didnât entirely believe you but didnât press the issue. Instead, he took the cup from you and sniffed it like some kind of coffee detective.
Behind you, you heard Emily stifle a laugh.
âSomething funny, Prentiss?â Aaron asked without looking up.
âNope, nothing at all,â she said, though her smirk was impossible to miss.
The teamâs suspicions only grew during the briefing. You were discussing a new caseâa string of robberies that had turned violentâand Aaronâs focus was split between the case details and you.
âY/N, youâll stay back at the station to coordinate with local law enforcement,â he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
âWhat?â you blurted, caught off guard. âWhy?â
âBecause I need someone I trust handling communications,â he said evenly.
You glanced around the table, noting the raised eyebrows and exchanged glances. Derek looked like he was about to burst out laughing, and JJ gave you a sympathetic smile.
âSure,â you said, trying to sound casual. âWhatever you say, boss.â
Aaron nodded, clearly satisfied, but you could feel the teamâs eyes on you as they filed out of the room.
Later that day, you were sitting at your desk when Derek sauntered over, leaning against the edge of your desk with a grin.
âOkay, whatâs the deal with Hotch?â he asked, crossing his arms.
âWhat do you mean?â you asked innocently.
âYou know exactly what I mean,â he said. âHeâs been hovering over you like a hawk all day.â
You shrugged, feigning nonchalance. âMaybe heâs just being thorough.â
Before you could respond, Emily joined you, her expression equally amused.
âHe made you stay back at the station,â she pointed out. âWhenâs the last time Hotch did that?â
âNever,â Derek answered for you.
You sighed, realizing there was no point in arguing. âYou guys are reading too much into this.â
âSure we are,â Emily said, smirking.
By the end of the day, you were ready to collapse. Aaron had insisted on driving you home, despite your protests that you were perfectly capable of getting there on your own.
As soon as you stepped into your apartment, you kicked off your shoes and flopped onto the couch with a groan.
âYou okay?â Aaron asked, sitting beside you.
âIâm fine,â you said, closing your eyes. âJust tired.â
He frowned, his hand brushing over your knee. âYou need to rest more.â
âI will,â you said, smiling up at him. âYou worry too much, you know that?â
âCan you blame me?â he asked, his voice softening.
You shook your head, your heart swelling at the concern in his eyes. âNo, I canât.â
The next day, the teamâs suspicions reached a breaking point.
You were in the conference room, going over the latest case updates, when JJ leaned over and whispered something to Emily. Both of them glanced at you, their expressions a mix of curiosity and amusement.
âWhat?â you asked, raising an eyebrow.
âNothing,â JJ said quickly, though her smile gave her away.
Aaron shot them a warning look, but that only seemed to fuel their amusement.
âI swear, you guys are acting weirder than usual,â you said, shaking your head.
âUs?â Emily asked, feigning innocence. âWeâre not the ones acting weird.â
âOkay, thatâs enough,â Aaron said, his tone firm.
The room fell silent, but you could see the team exchanging knowing looks.
Later that evening, Aaron and I were sitting on the couch at your place, dinner plates balanced on your laps.
âI think the teamâs onto us,â you said, breaking the comfortable silence.
âThey donât know anything,â Aaron said, though he didnât sound entirely convinced.
âTheyâre profilers, Aaron,â you reminded him. âThey know everything.â
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. âI just donât want them to find out before weâre ready to tell them.â
âI know,â you said, resting your head on his shoulder. âBut I donât think weâll be able to keep it a secret much longer.â
He was quiet for a moment before pressing a kiss to the top of your head. âWeâll figure it out,â he said.
A week later, the truth finally came outânot because you told them, but because the team cornered us in the bullpen.
âWe need to talk,â Derek said, his tone serious but his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Aaron and you exchanged a look, and you could tell he was debating whether to deny it or come clean.
âWhat is it, Morgan?â Aaron asked, his voice calm.
âItâs about Y/N,â Derek said, crossing his arms.
You felt your heart skip a beat.
âWe know somethingâs going on,â Emily added, her gaze shifting between the two of you.
Aaron sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. âWhat exactly do you think is going on?â
JJ stepped forward, her expression softer. âWe think⊠youâre expecting,â she said gently.
The bullpen fell silent, and you could feel everyoneâs eyes on you.
Aaron reached for your hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. âYouâre right,â he said finally. âWeâre having a baby.â
The room erupted into a mix of cheers and congratulations, and you couldnât help but laugh at their excitement.
âYou guys are impossible, you know that?â you said, shaking your head.
âImpossible, but right,â Rossi said with a grin.
As the team continued to celebrate, you looked up at Aaron, your heart swelling with love and gratitude.
This wasnât how you planned to tell them, but as you watched your friends and colleagues sharing your joy, you realized it couldnât have been more perfect.
Your little family was growing, and you couldnât wait for the adventure ahead.

Summary: When Hotch sees you throwing your arms around Spencer in excitement, he's not very happy about it...
a/n: I love this gif.. he's so đ„ in this
The BAU bullpen was always a controlled storm of movementâagents filtering in and out, cases being discussed, profiles being built. And then there was you. Bright, bubbly, completely out of place among the brooding minds of the team, yet somehow, you fit.
You werenât an agent, but as the teamâs assistant, you kept everything running smoothly: files in order, coffee refilled, travel booked. And if you just so happened to brighten everyoneâs day with your sunshine-like presence, well, that was just a bonus.
Aaron Hotchner, however, was a puzzle.
He was all sharp edges and unreadable expressions, a fortress of professionalism. But when it came to you, something flickered just beneath the surface. His gaze lingered a second too long when you spoke, his lips twitched at your endless stream of giggles, and sometimesâjust sometimesâhe let himself banter back, a smirk playing at his lips before he quickly wiped it away.
You flirted shamelessly, a game you loved to play, if only to see him shift in his seat and clear his throat.
âGood morning, sir,â you chirped one day, placing a fresh coffee on his desk. âI made this just how you like it. Because Iâm so good at my job.â You batted your lashes, feigning innocence.
Hotch glanced up from his paperwork, brow arching. âIs that so?â
âMhm.â You leaned a little closer, just enough to make his fingers twitch around the pen in his hand. âI like making you happy.â
He inhaled deeply, exhaling through his nose as he leaned back in his chair. âYouâre certainly⊠effective at it.â
The way his voice dropped sent a shiver down your spine, but before you could push your luck further, Spencer walked in with a stack of files.
And the moment was gone.
Later that afternoon, Spencer surprised you with something small, but sweetâa set of adorable pastel-colored pens heâd picked up while on a coffee run.
âI saw these and thought of you,â he said, a little shyly.
Your face lit up. âSpencer, oh my God, these are the cutest ever! You are so sweet!â
Without thinking, you threw your arms around him in a tight hug, swaying the two of you side to side. Spencer laughed, awkwardly patting your back, clearly not used to such enthusiastic affection.
Across the room, Hotch had just stepped out of his office.
His expression darkened in an instant. The way you were practically clinging to Reid, the brightness in your eyes, the unrestrained joy you showed himâit gnawed at him like nothing else. His grip on the file he was holding tightened, jaw clenched.
Heâd never been the jealous type. He was above that. Or at least, he had been.
Before you.
The thought of you giving that kind of attention to someone elseâto anyone elseâmade something possessive coil in his chest.
By the time you noticed him standing there, he was already stalking toward you.
âAgent Hotchner!â You smiled, still buzzing from Spencerâs gift. âLook at these adorable pens Spence got me! Arenât theyââ
âCan I speak with you?â Hotch cut in, his tone unreadable. âPrivately.â
Your eyes widened slightly, but you nodded. âOf course.â
He didnât wait for a response, turning sharply and heading toward the empty conference room. You followed, heels clicking against the floor.
The moment you stepped inside, he shut the door behind you, the sound echoing in the quiet space. You blinked up at him, slightly thrown off by the tension rolling off of him in waves.
âUh⊠is something wrong?â
Hotch exhaled, his hands bracing against the table as he stared at you. âYouâre always like this.â
You frowned. âLike what?â
âLike that. Flirting, smiling, throwing yourself at people like it doesnât mean anything.â
Your stomach twisted at the edge in his voice. âItâs just who I am,â you said softly. âI like making people happy.â
His jaw ticked. âYou didnât hug me like that when I brought you coffee yesterday morning.â
You blinked. âWait⊠is this about Spencer?â
A muscle in his jaw twitched. He didnât answer.
Realization dawned on you, heat creeping up your neck. âOh my God.â A slow smile spread across your lips. âHotch⊠are you jealous?â
His dark eyes locked onto yours, something unreadable flickering behind them. âI donât get jealous.â
You took a slow step forward, your voice dropping to something more playful. âYou so do.â
He exhaled sharply, looking away. âIt was inappropriate.â
âOh, now you care about whatâs appropriate?â You teased. âYou let me flirt with you all the time. You flirt back.â
âThatâs different.â
âHow?â
His fingers flexed against the table before he turned back to you, stepping forward, closer than before. âBecause itâs me.â
Your breath hitched. âOh?â
âI donât like seeing you in someone elseâs arms,â he admitted, voice lower now. âItâs infuriating.â
You swallowed, the air between you growing thick. âYou could always do something about it.â
For a moment, he hesitated. Then, before you could blink, he had closed the space between you, his hand catching your waist as he pulled you flush against him.
The warmth of his body, the sheer intensity in his gazeâit was overwhelming in the best way.
Your breath came in shallow pants. âAaronâŠâ
His fingers traced the curve of your waist, gripping just enough to make your head spin. âTell me to stop.â
You shook your head. âI wonât.â
His lips brushed against yours, barely there, teasing. His restraint was slipping, the tension that had built between you for months finally snapping like a rubber band pulled too tight.
âYou drive me insane,â he murmured, his lips ghosting over your cheek, your jaw, your ear. âYou and your little skirts, your giggles, the way you call me sir just to watch me react.â
You shivered. âIââ
He kissed you before you could finish the thought.
It wasnât tentative, wasnât soft. It was months of pent-up frustration, of stolen glances and repressed desire, all spilling over in the heat of the moment. His lips were firm against yours, demanding, and you melted against him, hands fisting the fabric of his suit.
When he finally pulled back, both of you were breathless.
Your head was spinning, and you barely managed to tease, âSo, uh⊠does this mean I can hug you now?â
Hotch chuckled, a rare, deep sound, his thumb tracing lazy circles on your hip. âYou can do a lot more than that.â

âOh, now you care about whatâs appropriate?â You teased. âYou let me flirt with you all the time.
Warnings: (inappropriate) work relationship, reader feeling embarrassed, wearing Hotch's clothes, some minor tension, teasing from Morgan

Summary: The reader accidentally exposes their secret fling to Morgan with an inappropriate comment.
Aaron Hotchner prided himself on his ability to stay composed under pressure. He had led hostage negotiations, interrogated serial killers, and made split-second decisions that determined life or death. His control was unshakable.
Or so he thought.
Because right nowâright nowâhis control was hanging by a thread.
It had started out as an ordinary morning. Well, as ordinary as it could be when heâd woken up with you in his bed.
You werenât officially together, but your relationship was⊠complicated. You werenât a one-night stand. You werenât just a colleague. But neither of you had put a name to whatever this was, because there were rulesârules Hotch was usually a stickler for following.
But lately? The rules seemed to bend around you.
He sat on the edge of the bed, already half-dressed in his slacks and a white dress shirt, buttoning the cuffs. His phone vibrated on the nightstand, flashing Morgan. With a sigh, he grabbed it and answered.
âHotchner.â
âHey, Hotch. We might have something,â Morgan said. âGarcia pulled up financials fromââ
Before Morgan could finish, the bathroom door swung open, and you strolled out, stretching your arms with a pleased hum.
âMorning, bossman,â you purred, voice thick with satisfaction as you padded barefoot across the room, wearing nothing but his dress shirt.
Hotch froze. His entire body locked up, his grip tightening around the phone.
You didnât seem to notice his rigid posture. You just smirked, flopping onto the bed beside him, face down with a sigh. âShame you had to get dressed already. I was really enjoying the view.â
Silence.
A dangerous silence.
Hotch turned his head just slightly, his jaw clenching as he met your gaze. His usually unreadable expression now had a very clear warning: Do not say another word.
But you, being you, completely missed it.
You rolled onto your side, propping yourself up on one elbow, and dragged your fingers lightly over the fabric of his sleeve. âThough, if you had stayed in bed, I might haveââ
Hotchâs hand shot up in a wordless command for you to stop talking.
Your smirk faltered. Then, your eyes flicked down to the phone in his hand. Your stomach dropped.
âOh my God,â you whispered, face draining of color.
And thenâMorgan cracked up.
Through the speaker, his laughter was loud, unrestrained, and utterly disbelieving.
âOhâoh, hell no,â Morgan wheezed. âNo way. Am I interrupting something, Hotch?â More laughter. âWas that a woman I just heard? You? Having company? At this hour?â
Your entire body tensed in horror. âAaron,â you whispered urgently. âI am so sorry.â
Hotch sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
âOh, this is golden,â Morgan continued, clearly having the time of his life. âWaitâwait, donât hang up yetâGarcia needs to hear this.â
âMorgan,â Hotch said sharply.
âOh, come on, man! Do you know how big this is? You neverââ
âMorgan."
Morgan was still laughing when he finally caught his breath.
âMan, I cannot believe this,â he said through chuckles. âHotch, you gotta tell meâwho is she? Who managed to crack the infamous stone-cold unit chief?â
Hotchâs silence was damning.
Then, in the background of the call, Morgan heard a very familiar, dramatic groan.
âOh my God. This is so embarrassing. Just let me crawl into a hole and die.â
Morgan froze. His grin widened.
ââŠOh, hell no,â he muttered under his breath.
Hotch pinched the bridge of his nose.
Morgan could barely contain his glee. âWait a minuteâwas that who I think it was?â
Hotch didnât answer.
âOh, this is too good.â Morgan was practically buzzing. âThat was her, wasnât it? Your assistant? The one who flirts with you relentlessly?â
Silence.
Morgan burst out laughing again. âOhhhh, this just made my whole damn week.â
Hotchâs jaw tightened. âMorgan.â
âNo, no, noâlet me just process this. You mean to tell me that the bubbly, giggly, pink-loving ball of sunshine that brings everyone coffee has youâAaron Hotchnerâwrapped around her little finger?â
Hotch clenched his jaw. âThis conversation is over.â
âOh, hell no, itâs just getting started.â
Hotch hung up.
Morgan just sat there, shaking his head in utter delight.
âThis is golden."
You groaned again, dragging a pillow over your face. âI am never showing my face in the bullpen again.â
Hotch exhaled, amused despite himself. âYou say that now.â
âI mean it, Aaron. The moment Morgan so much as smirks at me, Iâm resigning.â
Hotch gave a small shake of his head, a smirk ghosting his lips. âWeâll see.â
---
You walked into the bullpen, dreading this moment. You kept your head down, gripping the files in your hands like a shield, moving toward your desk as discreetly as possible.
Morgan saw you immediately.
The second you stepped into his line of sight, his face lit up like it was Christmas morning.
âOhhhh, look who decided to show up,â he drawled, leaning back in his chair.
You froze mid-step. Your entire soul left your body.
Morganâs smirk widened. âWhatâs the matter, sunshine? You look a little flushed.â
Your grip tightened on the files. âI hate you.â
He laughed. âNo, you donât. But I gotta sayâI never thought Iâd live to see the day Hotch had a woman sneaking out of his house in his clothes.â
Emily and JJ, who had been within earshot, both snapped their heads around so fast you could swear you heard a crack.
Warnings: use of Y/N, Spencer being a flustered and blushing mess, flirting, teasing from the team
Wordcount: 800
Summary: You work behind the scenes at the BAU. Every time Spencer calls you for information, it turns into a full-blown flirt fest.
You barely looked up from your multiple monitors as your phone buzzed on your desk. Without checking the caller ID, you already knew who it was.
You grinned, adjusting your headset before answering in your most sultry voice, âBAU Information Hotline, youâve reached your number-one fan. How may I assist you, Doctor Reid?â
There was a pause, followed by the sound of Spencer clearing his throat. âYou, uhâyou really need to stop answering like that.â
âOh, come on,â you teased, leaning back in your chair. âIf I donât flirt with you over the phone, how else am I supposed to keep you entertained in the field? What do you need, handsome?â
Across the bullpen, Emily and JJ exchanged looks. Morgan, who was within earshot of Spencerâs end of the call, slowly turned his head with an expression of pure amusement.
Spencer sighed but didnât hide the tiny smile in his voice. âI need you to cross-check a list of known aliases for our unsub against financial records from the last six months.â
âAnything for you, genius,â you purred. âBut if you wanted to hear my voice, you couldâve just said so.â
â(Y/N)âŠâ Spencer warned, but you could hear the slight hitch in his breath.
Morganâs eyebrows shot up, and he looked around the jet where several agents were now trying (and failing) to suppress their giggles.
âI mean, come on, Spence,â you continued. âYou always call me first, even when Iâm not the best person to ask. Is it because I have the best research skills, or because you just canât resist the sound of my voice?â
âBoth?â Spencer offered hesitantly.
You let out a dramatic sigh. âYou really know how to make a girl feel special.â
Emily stifled a laugh by covering her mouth, while Hotch subtly shook his head as if resigning himself to the reality that this was just⊠how you and Spencer operated.
Morgan, however, was in full entertainment mode. âOh, hell no,â he muttered under his breath, before turning toward Spencer with a smirk.
Spencer had turned red, holding the phone slightly away from his ear as if that would somehow make the situation less embarrassing.
Morgan leaned forward. âPretty Boy, I neverâeverâwanna hear that again.â He paused, then smirked. âActuallyâŠ?â
Spencer groaned and pressed the phone closer to his ear again. âIgnore him.â
âOh, donât worry, sweetheart,â you replied, clearly having heard Morgan. âI only have ears for you.â
Spencer let out a soft, almost pained laugh. âYouâre impossible.â
âAnd yet, you keep calling.â
Morgan shook his head. âI donât know if I should be impressed or horrified.â
âIâd go with impressed,â JJ added, barely containing her laughter.
Spencer pinched the bridge of his nose. âJustâdo you have the records?â
âOf course, Spence. I had them pulled up five minutes ago, but I was having too much fun hearing you squirm,â you admitted.
There was a chorus of âoohsâ from the team as Spencer groaned again.
âYouâre evil,â he mumbled.
âBut you love it,â you teased.
Morgan leaned in once more, voice dripping with amusement. âHey, (Y/N), when Pretty Boy gets back, you should tell him how much you love his brain.â
âI do love his brain,â you said easily. âAnd the rest of him isnât bad either.â
Spencer, now completely red, abruptly ended the call.
The jet erupted into laughter.
---
When the team finally returned to Quantico, Spencer found you waiting at your desk, an innocent smile on your lips. âHey, genius. Missed me?â
Spencer sighed, rubbing his face. âI have never been more humiliated.â
You grinned. âSo, same time tomorrow?â
He huffed, but the small, fond smile on his lips gave him away.
Morgan walked past, clapping him on the shoulder. âMan, youâre so whipped.â
Spencer just shook his head. Maybe he was. But with you? He didnât really mind.

Warnings: nerdy rambling, inaccurate Doctor Who facts, kissing
Words: 1.8k
Summary: Spencer takes his girlfriend to a Doctor Who convention, and she absolutely adores how excited he gets about his favorite things.
a/n: This was requested by anon! I apologize for any inaccurate doctor who facts! Enjoy!
You werenât sure what was more entertainingâthe Doctor Who convention itself or Spencer Reid in his element.
The second you walked through the convention center doors, he lit up like a kid in a candy store, his hazel eyes practically sparkling as he took in the crowd of cosplayers, booths filled with memorabilia, and life-sized replicas of the TARDIS.
âYou know, Doctor Who first aired on November 23, 1963, the day after President Kennedy was assassinated,â he started, practically vibrating with excitement as he laced his fingers with yours. âThe show was meant to be an educational sci-fi series, using time travel to teach kids about history and science.â
You grinned, squeezing his hand. âSpence, youâve barely been here five minutes, and youâre already in full professor mode.â
His cheeks flushed. âSorry! I just⊠I love this stuff.â
âI know,â you said, adoring the way his whole face lit up. âAnd I love how much you love it.â
His hand tightened around yours as he pulled you toward one of the booths. The display was filled with sonic screwdrivers, replica TARDIS keys, and various versions of the Doctorâs famous scarves and bowties. Spencer picked up a Fourth Doctor scarf, running his fingers over the soft wool.
âThis is screen accurate,â he murmured, more to himself than to you. âThe original scarf was made by Begonia Pope in the â70s, and legend has it that she was given too much yarn, so she just used all of it.â
You giggled, watching as he handled the scarf with such care. âYou should get it.â
He hesitated. âReally? I mean, I donât usuallyââ
âSpencer, youâre literally the biggest Doctor Who fan here. You deserve the scarf.â
His lips twitched in amusement, but he finally let the vendor ring it up. The moment he draped it around his neck, he looked so happy that your heart melted.
The day only got better from there. You followed Spencer through the convention, listening to him ramble about everything from Gallifreyan lore to the science behind the showâs theories. You didnât care that half of it went over your headâyou just loved watching him talk about something he was so passionate about.
When you finally dragged him away, it was to join a Q&A panel with past Doctor Who actors. You settled into your seats, and as the panelists spoke, Spencer whispered little tidbits of trivia in your ear. Normally, you might have hushed him, but hereâhere, where his passion was on full displayâyou let him talk. You let yourself soak in every word.
After the panel, you made your way to a life-size TARDIS replica. Spencerâs fingers trembled with excitement as he touched the blue wooden door. âItâs bigger on the inside,â he murmured, and you knew in that moment that this was magic for him.
In front of a full-size TARDIS replica, complete with flashing lights and the iconic VWORP VWORP sound effect, Spencer immediately pulled you inside, his excitement palpable.
âOkay, so in theory, if time travel was possible, it would likely involve some form of closed timelike curves, which are solutions to Einsteinâs field equationsââ
You reached up and kissed his cheek, stopping him mid-ramble. âI love you.â
He blinked, momentarily stunned, then softened. âI love you too.â
You laughed, looping your arms around his neck. âYou know, I think I finally get why you love Doctor Who so much.â
âOh?â His hands rested on your waist, tilting his head in curiosity.
âItâs about adventure, discovery⊠and love.â You smiled, pressing your forehead to his. âKinda reminds me of you.â
Spencerâs breath hitched slightly, and for once, he was at a loss for words. Instead, he just kissed you, slow and sweet, right there inside the TARDIS.
âYou know,â you said softly, reaching up to adjust his scarf, âI think the Doctor would love you.â
Spencer blinked down at you, taken aback. âMe?â
You nodded. âYeah. Youâre brilliant, and kind, and you see the universe in a way no one else does. If anyone deserves a ride in the TARDIS, itâs you.â
His throat bobbed, and he leaned down and kissed you again, right there in front of the TARDIS, surrounded by fellow fans. It was soft, reverent, filled with the same wonder he had for time and space itself.
When he pulled back, his cheeks were pink. âI think this might be the best day ever.â
And for that moment, time really did seem to stand still.

Summary: After a passionate night together, you wake up wrapped in Spencerâs warmth.
The first thing you noticed was warmth.
Spencerâs warmth.
It surrounded you, wrapped around you like a cocoon, his body flush against yours beneath the tangle of sheets. His arm was slung low around your waist, fingers resting lazily against the dip of your stomach, his bare chest pressed to your back, his breath fanning softly against your neck.
It was a kind of warmth you could sink into.
A warmth that, if you let it, could make you never want to leave this bed again.
Last night.
The memory flickered through your mind, heat blooming in your chest.
It had been slow. Unrushed. Like time had stopped just for the two of you. Spencer had touched you like he was memorizing every inch of your skin, had kissed you like he was tracing poetry with his lips.
And now, in the early light of morning, that same warmth still lingered between you.
You exhaled softly, shifting slightly against him. The movement made Spencer stir, his grip tightening, pulling you just a little closer.
A low hum rumbled in his chest, sleep still thick in his voice. âYouâre awake?â
You smiled, tilting your head slightly to look at him. His hair was a mess, curls wild and untamed from sleep, his face softer than usual, a sleepy haze still clinging to his eyes.
You resisted the urge to run your fingers through his curls. Barely.
âMm,â you hummed. âI am now.â
Spencer let out a slow breath, nuzzling his nose against your shoulder, pressing a lazy, half-conscious kiss to your skin. âYou should go back to sleep,â he murmured. âItâs early.â
You laughed softly. âYou donât even know what time it is.â
Spencer sighed, barely opening his eyes. âBased on the angle of the light, Iâd say somewhere around 7:00 AM.â
You snorted. âNerd.â
His lips quirked against your skin. âYou like that Iâm a nerd.â
You rolled your eyes. âYeah, yeah.â
A comfortable silence settled between you, his hand splaying lazily across your stomach, fingers tracing idle patterns against your skin.
Thenâ
âLast night wasâŠâ Spencerâs voice trailed off slightly, searching for the right words.
You turned in his arms to face him, raising an eyebrow. âWhat? You gonna say it was âstatistically significantâ?â
Spencer huffed out a sleepy laugh, shaking his head. âNo.â His fingers brushed a strand of hair from your face. âIt was perfect.â
Your heart fluttered.
The sincerity in his voice made something warm settle in your chest, a quiet kind of happiness filling every inch of you.
You smiled, reaching up to trace your fingers along his jaw. âYeah,â you murmured. âIt was.â
Spencerâs gaze softened, his eyes flickering between yours before trailing lower, down to your lips.
You knew that look.
Your stomach flipped.
Slowly, almost hesitantly, he leaned in, his lips ghosting over yours in a way that sent a shiver down your spine. It was different from last nightânot filled with urgency or need, but something sweeter. Something deeper.
Like he was savoring the moment.
When he pulled back, he was smiling.
âYouâre soft in the mornings,â you teased, tracing a finger across his collarbone.
Spencer smirked. âYou werenât saying that last night.â
Your face burned.
You let out a scandalized gasp, swatting at his chest. âSpencer!â
He just laughed, catching your wrist with ease and pressing a kiss to the inside of it, his lips lingering against your pulse.
The intimacy of it made your breath hitch.
Spencerâs gaze flickered up to meet yours, something unreadable in his expression.
âI like this,â he murmured.
You swallowed. âLike what?â
He shifted, pulling you closer so you were completely wrapped in him, tangled in warmth, in him. âWaking up with you,â he admitted. âHaving you in my arms.â
You felt your heart skip a beat.
âSpenceâŠâ you whispered, your fingers curling around the fabric of the sheets.
Spencer sighed, his voice soft. âI mean it.â
You tucked your head against his chest, your cheeks burning, overwhelmed by how much you felt.
âI like it too,â you admitted. âMore than I should.â
Spencer smiled against your hair.
Neither of you spoke for a while, just lying there, wrapped in each other, letting the morning stretch out between you.
Eventually, Spencer sighed dramatically.
âUnfortunately, the laws of time and societal obligations make staying in bed forever impossible.â
You groaned. âI hate the laws of time and societal obligations.â
Spencer grinned, pressing a lazy kiss to your forehead. âMe too.â
And for a little while longer, neither of you moved.

Summary: Crippling period cramps leave you weak and nauseous, and Spencer steps in to take care of you.
a/n: This was requested by anon! Thank you, enjoy!
The pain comes in waves, sharp and unrelenting, twisting your stomach into knots. Itâs bad this timeâworse than usual. You had barely managed to drag yourself from bed before the nausea hit, and now youâre curled up on the bathroom floor, weak and shivering.
The sound of your phone buzzing on the counter is distant, but you know who it is before even looking. Spencer.
You reach for it with trembling fingers, barely managing to press accept before whispering, âHey.â
Thereâs a pause. â(Y/N)?â His voice is already concerned, picking up on the strain in yours. âAre you okay?â
You swallow hard, closing your eyes. âCramps,â you murmur. âBad ones.â
Spencer is silent for half a secondâcalculating, probably. âHave you taken anything? Are you drinking enough water? Howâs yourââ
You cut him off with a weak laugh. âSpence, I canât even move.â
That does it. âIâm coming over.â
You try to protest, but the call has already ended.
Fifteen minutes later, your apartment door swings openâthank god you gave him a keyâand the sound of hurried footsteps reaches your ears. â(Y/N)?â
âIn here,â you croak.
Spencer appears in the doorway, eyes scanning you with full-blown concern. He doesnât hesitate before kneeling beside you. âYou look pale,â he murmurs, brushing damp hair from your face. âHave you thrown up?â
You nod weakly.
He exhales softly and, without another word, hooks his arms beneath you, lifting you as if you weigh nothing. âLetâs get you back in bed,â he says, voice gentle.
You donât argue. You barely have the strength to keep your eyes open as he carries you, setting you down with the utmost care. The warmth of your blankets feels heavenly as he tucks them around you.
âI brought some things,â Spencer says, reaching into his bag. âA heating padâit helps with uterine contractions. Ginger tea for nausea. And I picked up some electrolyte water in case youâre dehydrated.â
You blink up at him. âYouâre amazing.â
A faint blush colors his cheeks, but he only smiles as he plugs in the heating pad, carefully placing it over your stomach. The warmth soothes the pain almost instantly, and you sigh in relief.
Spencer sits beside you, his hand resting lightly on your arm. âDo you need anything else?â
You shake your head, reaching out weakly. âJust stay?â
His expression softens. âOf course.â
He adjusts so that heâs sitting up against the headboard, letting you rest your head against his chest. His fingers stroke soothing circles against your back, and slowly, the tension in your body eases.
Spencer keeps talkingâsoft facts about serotonin levels and how warmth helps pain managementâbut his voice is low and lulling, and eventually, you drift into sleep, safe in the warmth of his arms.

Summary: Waking up tangled together for the first time was sweetâuntil you felt something unexpected.
The warmth you felt was comfortable.
It was the kind of cozy, sleep-heavy warmth that made you want to burrow deeper into the blankets and never move again. The kind of warmth that only came from waking up next to someone elseâhim.
Spencer.
The realization sent a flutter through your chest. It was the first time you had stayed over, and despite your nerves the night before, everything had gone⊠perfectly. He had been an absolute gentleman, offering you his comfiest pajamas, making sure you had an extra pillow, and even stammering through an offer to sleep on the couch if you werenât comfortable sharing the bed.
Of course, you had wanted to sleep beside him.
And now, here you were, tangled up together in the soft morning light filtering through his apartment window.
You shifted slightly, stretching, only to realize just how tangled you were. Spencerâs arm was draped over your waist, his face buried in the crook of your neck. His breath was warm against your skin, slow and steady in sleep. One of your legs had somehow ended up between his, your bodies pressed together in the most natural, intimate way.
You felt your heart swell at how relaxed he was. Spencer wasnât always like thisâso at ease, so unwound. You knew he had trouble sleeping sometimes, that his mind never quite let him rest. But right now, he looked peaceful.
And thenâ
Oh.
Oh.
You froze as you became aware of something else. Something firm pressing against your thigh.
Heat immediately rushed to your face.
It took a second for your sleepy brain to fully process it, but there was no mistaking what you were feeling. Spencerâsoft, sleepy, completely unaware Spencerâhad morning wood.
Your whole body went rigid.
This wasnât bad or anythingâtotally normal, totally biological, totally not a big dealâbut oh God, you were suddenly hyper-aware of everything.
You squeezed your eyes shut, willing yourself to stay calm. But of course, in your panic, your body betrayed you.
You shifted.
Just a tiny movement. But it was enough.
Spencer made a soft noise against your neck, his breath hitching slightly. His fingers flexed where they rested against your waist, and thenâhe stirred.
You felt it the moment he woke up.
His body stiffened, his breathing changed, and thenâ
ââŠOh.â
Silence.
Complete, deafening silence.
Neither of you moved. Neither of you breathed.
You swore you could hear the gears in Spencerâs brain turning at a million miles per hour as he processed the situation.
And thenâ
âOh my God.â
His voice was so horrified, so full of sheer mortification, that you couldnât help it. Despite your own embarrassment, a nervous giggle bubbled up in your throat.
That seemed to snap him out of his stunned paralysis. He practically flung himself away from you, scrambling backward on the bed like he had just been electrocuted.
âIâIâthis isnâtââ He ran a hand through his already-messy hair, eyes wide with panic. âItâsâitâs just biology! A completely involuntary physiological responseâthereâs an increase in testosterone levels during REM sleep which leads toâoh God, Iâm explaining it, I need to stop explaining itââ
You bit your lip, watching him flail, his face rapidly turning as red as his pajama shirt. It was, objectively, the cutest thing you had ever seen.
âSpence.â You reached for his hand, but he was too busy burying his face in his palms, groaning in pure misery.
âIâm so sorry,â he mumbled through his fingers.
You couldnât hold back your laughter anymore. It started as a giggle but quickly turned into full-blown laughter, your body shaking with it.
Spencer peeked at you from between his fingers, looking both betrayed and confused. ââŠYouâre laughing?â
âIâm sorry, Iâm sorry,â you gasped, trying to rein it in. âItâs justâoh my God, your face!â
He groaned again, flopping back onto the bed. âIâll never recover from this. This is how I die.â
Still giggling, you scooted closer, resting your chin on his chest as you looked up at him. âSpence, itâs fine. I promise.â
He cracked one eye open, clearly skeptical. ââŠYouâre not mortified?â
âNot even a little.â You grinned. "Why would I be? Watching you have a meltdown about it is kind of adorable.â
His face somehow turned even redder.
âI was not having a meltdown,â he muttered.
âYou flung yourself across the bed like I was on fire.â
ââŠThatâs a natural fight-or-flight response to extreme embarrassment.â
You laughed again, pressing a soft kiss to his jaw. âYouâre ridiculous.â
Spencer let out a long breath, his body finally relaxing beneath you. After a moment, he tentatively wrapped an arm around your waist again, pulling you closer.
ââŠYou really donât think Iâm a total disaster?â he asked quietly.
You smiled against his skin. âNo, Spence. I think youâre perfect.â
His hand tightened on your waist, his breath a little uneven. âThat makes one of us,â he mumbled.
You leaned up just enough to look into his warm, still-slightly-mortified eyes. âHey. Just so you knowâif weâre gonna keep sleeping in the same bed, this might happen again.â
Spencer groaned. âI was trying not to think about that.â
You giggled, pressing a kiss to his cheek. âIâm just sayingâmaybe next time, you donât have to freak out so much.â
He hesitated, then, very slowly, buried his face against your shoulder with a small, resigned sigh. ââŠNoted.â
And with that, you both settled back into the warmth of the blankets, still tangled together, still flusteredâbut smiling.
