parents will turn this on they're children "why are you so cold and distant? you never call and you never vist, we raised you, now when we get old you need to take care of us" that bs is why children have such a disconnect from parents, my mother is a perfect example. She claimed she didn't know how to use "imagination" to play dolls, but she can write novels. she avoided spending time with me save for a few activities that she wanted to do. now I'm an adult and she only calls on me when she needs me to do something for her and then wonders why I don't make an effort to visit or call.
