Actually ahsoka's outfit was not always the one we saw in TCW. In the concept art before, Filoni drew ahsoka with one of those sleeveless turtleneck tops with a skirt that went to her knees with knee high boots. I think George was the one who shortened her skirt to TCW length, gave her leggings and changed her top to the tube top. But ya, as I got older, I felt kinda uncomfortable with putting a 14 year old in that outfit imo. What's ur opinion?

It doesn’treally matter if it was George or Filoni. In the end they both went along withit for a long time. I believe people have the right to wear whatever they want(let’s not shame people for their wardrobe) but Ahsoka’s situation is ickybecause she is a 14 years old girl designed by grown men.

For contrast,think about this: we first meet Padmé when she was fourteen. She had thesegorgeous outfits, that fit the character without sexualizing a young girl. Soit is possible to design an iconic outfit for a 14 year old that makes sensefor the plot and the characters.

Speaking ofthe plot, Ahsoka’s outfit is inconsistent with previous canon. Jedi younglingshad to wear the Jedi attire (modified to fit their species, if necessary).Until Anakin accepted her, Ahsoka wasn’t really a padawan. And we can use the “speciesissue” justification because togrutas can wear jedi robes:

Another thing:jedi younglings/padawans led simple lives. Everything they did and saw was controlledby the Jedi Order. They weren’t allow out of the temple alone and withoutpermission. They weren’t allowed shopping. So this idea this outfit was somethingAhsoka picked for herself goes against what we know about how the Orderoperates.

Also, themoment she became a padawan she also became a member of the GAR. She was constantlybeing shot at, tossed around, fighting, etc. The grown men – the clones, theJedi Knights, Jedi Masters and the members of the Jedi Council – wore layersand protective armor. The 14 years old girl that is just begining her training gets a skirt and a tube top:

IMO, this problemgoes way beyond Ahsoka. It has to do with the trope that female warriors needtight/revealing clothes and with how sw sexualizes women, especially alienwomen.

How did you make the know your fate game? It was really cool!

The game it’s actually eight difrent gif files combined. I used online gif generator. I loaded the previously cut images and set the timing how fast they’re supposed to flicker. I used half of second different frequency, various for every gif.
