About Hannigram

Well, I have already finished Hannibal and I wanted to share my view about the ship.

Hannibal expends his life manipulating others, being Will his very perfect victim. He needs him as well as Will needs Hannibal. They’re like a drug for each other, yes, but not in a romantic or sexual way. Will knows his insanity is beeing fed by Hannibal’s, and Hannibal loves watching how Will becomes a psycho because of his influence.

At the end we see how Lecter finally reaches his aim of turning Will into a killer. They kill together, like one man splited in two. Their exchange of looks while they’re killing the Dragon, show that no words are needed to understand each other. When they embrace, covered in blood, and Hannibal says that that was what he wanted for them, 90% people see the canon. I don’t see any canon, I see an insane killer who embrace the madness he has created. His perfect victim, after all the pain he has suffered.

To sum up, for me, Will and Hannibal are perfect for each other, mentally, they need each other to keep feeding their madness. I don’t know how people can just see sexual tension and nothing else. I respect it, because in some scenes you really can see something, and even the cast or director have said they ship it. But I don’t.They’re beautiful, art, together, but more than in that way.

+my feelings about them are so weird it is hard to me to don’t like some hannigram fanarts, for example. But I can’t stand the sexual ones. AAAAAAH help me, I’m a mess right now. It’s like I love them (individually) so much, that I can’t help loving them together. But I don’t ship them in the series. It’s like I like the fanarts as if they were OCs, idk. I would say I just love them being part of art.
