Weed Brings Us All Together
With all this that goes through everyoneās mind, how are we not supposed to lose our shit? Or keep it together? And make new friends? Itās simple:Ā Marijuana.
Yeah, yeah, weed is still looked down upon, but fuck it. We all use weed to better how we feel, how we think, and how we socialize. Whether you use it clinically or recreationally, it works. But I donāt need to convince you of that; Iām sure if you smoke, well, you already know.Ā
I think the best part of smoking is the socialization of it. You guys ever go to parties where the only person you know is the person youāre going with? But as soon as you pull out the blunt and take a few puffs in the rotation, everyone is Best Friends Forever. Or when everyone pitches in on a quick bowl and makes a salad. (I just seen that at a party we threw, and I wish I couldāve been a part of it. But I was with other friends). We all get to know each other a bit more, and we thinkĀ āYo, that person chiefs it alsoā, making a connection to all these different kinds of people. I think itās wonderful.Ā
But if youāre someone whoās incredibly close-minded to it, disassociates yourself with people who do smoke, and thinks ānahhh, theyāre just a typical loser potheadā,Ā AND youāre over 21, then maybe you should hit up your local dispensary, get a gram or two of some good shit, and roll yourself a nice blunt. Relax, bro and chief it! Youāll understand.
Now, youāre probably thinking of who I am and why I started writing and smoking and all, so I think itās time to introduce myself. Iām a 22(going on 23)-year-old college student. Iām trying to get my degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child Development, but itās taking me a bit of time to reach my academic goals. I am the youngest of three, from parents who both migrated from third-world countries, so you bet, the. pressure. is. on. So many things catch my interest that I might not get into them right now, but as my blog progresses, I guess youāll see what kind if things I like. I have a boyfriend of almost 3 years and heās my rock. Heās my best friend and best believe, heās who I chief it with the most. He and I have this thing where when we smoke, we voice record the shit we say or record an experience that we go through while high, and a lot of it is Gold, youāll see some of it as we go along. Itās kind of why I wanted to start a blog; I wanted to get my thoughts out there, just to share with whoever wants to read about it.Ā As in to why I started smoking, at first, I kinda just wanted to try it, get that wholeĀ āCollege Experienceā. But as the years went by, I donāt know, it kind of just stuck. It makes me feel good, productive (at times) and if we get things done, we pack a nice one, to celebrate. And it all just fits together perfectly.Ā
