This was my first fully custom VRChat avatar. Made entirely from scratch - from the initial sketch to modeling, texturing, and rigging. Uses Poiyomi’s toon shader.

VRChat avatar of my fursona Tiramisu! Made using ZaWoo’s Chaos Canine as a base. I did some sculpting to make them closer to the right body type, and made a custom texture. I even added an emission control for the pink markings!

and now it is something to learn from

a catalyst for creative growth

logging the final creation does not truly do it justice

it does not capture the process

does not fully communicate the inspiration that went into it

the experiences

the conversations, the failures, the laughter, the pain

the little moments of “wow, nice”

and perhaps this log does not have to capture the experiences that led up to it (nor could it) to serve its purpose

to remind myself, and maybe, hopefully, others

to take the time to pause
