Warforged Swarmkeeper Ranger. The warforged is not a typical robot, but is instead a hive-minded nanomachine colony that have disguised themselves as a humanoid; think the T-1000 from Terminator 2. Any class features that utilize the Ranger's "swarm" in this case simply involve a portion of the nanite hive.

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

This is the best description I’ve heard for this method, I always thought it was bullshit because I never heard a description that actually explained how to do this other than “tap your head 20 times”.

I have anxiety-induced hissing, which sounds/feels different from sound-induced tinnitus (which I have also experience). Sound-based tinnitus actually sounds like you’re “hearing” something in your ears, whilst the hissing I have feels like it’s “inside my head”, if that makes sense. But this technique still helps!!

Okay, I was just going to reblog this without commentary, but I can't keep this to myself. I'm a PhD student in environmental science and this is my fucking highway.

The first published study about climate change (that I am aware of-- feel free to point out if there's an older one) is an 1896 paper by Svante Arrhenius. He pointed out the link between the greenhouse effect and changes in atmospheric CO2.

Plate tectonics, which the geoscience community now recognizes as near indisputable, was a fringe theory until about the 1960s.

Just in case anyone thought that climate change was a "recent fad" in research.

Figured this should be its own ask. So I haft to ask, where do you stand on people who identify with male Jax as victims of parental abuse instead of the trans repression allegory? (I probably phrased this wrong and I’ve been attacked for this despite openly stating both perspectives are valid)

He was a male victim of parental abuse... And she is trans. Both are compatable and both are in the text.

Because the transgender experience is not seperate from the human experience.

If you're a cisgender guy who was abused by your parents, you may find you can relate to trans women. In fact, there's a lot of people you can relate to that you wouldn't think to. Same goes for them, too. The idea that men and women are fundamentally different is a lie, the reality is that we're all more similar than we'd care to admit to.

Because we're all human.

So, where do I stand in this argument? That both realties are true and can coexist. If you only see one or the other, there is a perspective you are missing that can give you more insight into how the world works.
