For the most fiery spirit in the universe!

Came up with the title "Mockingbird" as his outfit 'makes fun of' (pays homage to) an older Jean Gray look

Color reference for the outfit! Also shows off the gloves a bit better

Dude looks like a final boss, I love it, very happy how it turned out!

Jean definitely loves the look. She's not mad he rocks the look better than her at all. She's not. Trust her.

My part of the collab with @gumcatbd! :D They made the AMAZING sketch and character designs, and I did the digital line art + coloring/shading! I love their Rocket design so much, he exudes coolness and I love how he's both angular and FLOOFY!!! Their take on his cybernetics is so cool too! It was an honor to get to draw him! (And their chibi guardians are adorable I want to hold them gently)

I never wanted to believe this was his bed, it's like a piece of wreckage. So where in the Milano and the Benetar did he sleep? On the floor? In a cupboard? I want to believe the glimpse we got in vol2 of the beds meant they were sharing them. Between ALL of them. He needs some pillows and heart shaped plushies. And a cupholder, but that he can figure out well enough

AUGHGHHGHGHHG hell yeah, love this style

I love the shapes you do in his fur, and the way it all effortlessy bleeds into his neck, makes for a very satisfying design. Not to mention the roughness to the style is just right to where it comes off as a well done piece, with a purposeful crunch to it, wether purposeful or not, and just makes it extremely satisfying to look at!!!

Vibes wise, it reminds me of the art of rocket from Grounded, I love how shapey you draw him, and I love how square it all is, gives him a distinct design

AWW I'm gonna treasure this comment forever!! Grounded and Blue River Score are my top two influences right now, they have amazing art direction and I'm looking at them pretty closely
