A grin crossed his face as she got closer. “Hello, Luci, Merry Christmas.” He greeted before tentatively closing the distance between them to hug her, hoping that he wasn’t crossing any lines.
She stiffens at the hug for a moment, but eventually hugs him back. "Merry Christmas to you too. I hope your day was good."
Nick was practically bouncing, the small box feeling like it was burning a hole in the gloved hand that he held it in as he walked out to his car and headed towards Crawford. He was glad to be getting away from his family for a while but getting to see Luci on top of all of that made it that much better. He pulled up outside of the building, noting that she wasn’t there yet but he couldn’t just sit there so he got out of the car and leaned against the hood as he waited for her to arrive, bouncing and tapping his feet against the pavement out of nerves as well as to keep warm.
Luci slowly walked to Crawford, taking her time and enjoying the scenery. It was all quite beautiful and Luci was glad to be out of her house. She sees Nick down the street and she picks up her pace a little bit. Eventually she gets to him and smiles. "Hello, Nick."

Nick: Alright, I think I've got an idea, just make sure you wear a jacket, I don't need you freezing on me. Let me know when you're ready.
Luci: it should only take me about ten minutes.
Text: Luci ↔ Nick
Nick: I would love to get to see you and my family's all just sort of hanging around the house by now. I could pick you up? Anywhere you'd like to go?
Luci: Pick me up at Crawford! I can walk there.....I don't mind where we go.
Text: Luci ↔ Nick
Nick: Merry Christmas! :) I got you a little something and I was wondering if I could possibly get it to you sometime soon?
Luci: Merry Christmas, Nick! I might be free a little later if you would like?
"Of course not Luci! I would never joke about something like this with you…"
"I-It doesn't make sense otherwise. Y-You barley k-know me...."
A little because it means being forced to spend time with my family when I’d rather be just about anywhere else. I guess I’m also getting nostalgic about graduating too.. It’s weird to think that this is Harmony’s and my last winter break of high school..
Oh y-y-yeah...you are graduating after this y-year. I think you are very lucky for being able to leave.
He smiles wider at her words. “Sure, anything.”
"Are you playing a j-joke on m-me?"
"You have to come to my room and tell me all about it!"
"C-Can I come now?"
"Of course I would." He insists taking her hands and smiling. "I do, a lot."
"I d-d-do too. N-Nick...C-Can I ask you something?"
I’m not sure to be excited or sad about break this year.
W-Why be sad?
"Well, now you can say that you have. Of course not! If you’d let me I’d love to take you on many more dates in the future." He grinned before continuing shyly. "I-I really like you Luci.."
"Y-You would want to do that?" She looks to the ground for a moment then back at him. "Y-You do?!?"

Nick walked with her to the edge of the ice, setting her hand on the board so she would have a way to steady herself before stepping onto the ice, pretending to be unsteady for a second before turning an smiling at her. “You’re next.” He laughed, holding his arms out a bit, waiting for her to join him. He was glad that he felt steady on his feet so that he would be able to help her if she felt like she was going to fall.
Luci watched him stumble and her eyes widened in surprise, but then he was steady and alright and she pouts at him. "Y-You trickster!" When he said it was her turn, she bit her lip before thinking Here goes...She takes her first step on the ice and wobbles a little, and then her second. She is on the ice for maybe one minute before she wobbles to much and falls into Nick's arms. Blushing, she doesn't move from him just yet. He was really warm and she was embarrassed to try and stand again.
"Sounds like it must have been. Who was the lucky guy?"
"H-His name is Nick. He g-goes to Dalton!"
"Did you go on your date little dancer?"
"Y-Yes!! It was magical, Louise."
"Absolutely." He grinned biting at his bottom lip. "I’m glad you liked it, I’d- I had never planned a date before, so I was a bit nervous I’d mess something up."
"And I've n-never been on a date before." She smiles sweetly at him. "T-Though...I hope that isn't the only one."
D’you mind if I ask why today was so good?
B-Because! I've had a...boy on my mind.
