For some reason, hearing an adult man apologize to her that way was also weird. Maybe it was cool he was that comfortable? It was justâŠnot something she basically ever heard. Well, except out of Martin and that didnât count. He was her brother, he wasnât like âa manâ. The actual explanation had her staring at him completely baffled. âOk. Gonna be honest, that was the last thing I expected you to say.â She wasnât entirely sure he was telling the truth either as sheâd never heard of a spell like that.Â
