        Enough vines surrounded Klara that she at least felt a little safer as she sat on the ground with her knees pulled to her chest. Exhaustion seeped into her muscles and glancing around at the vines that snaked up buildings and some held up debris, she assumed she over exerted her. “The roses didn’t like the earthquake.” She muttered feebly. When the earthquake hit, she had been on her way home with two potted roses to add to her collection. Their pots were shattered but she managed to keep the roses themselves alive. “They think I need a break. I think I agree with them.”
