"Noo~" He squirmed and outstretched his arms in order to recapture the nose and long hair. "Very Girly, Sammy~"
"You’re just jealous ‘cause my hair’s prettier," Sam chuckled.
"That’s a lie, Sammy! And you know it!" He blinked and grabbed a hold of his nose.
Sam laughed, shaking his head to try to get the little boy to let go of his face. “Not a lie!”
"Mr. Fizzles says you're llyyinngg~"
"You don’t have to protect me...."
"Well I don’t see you protecting yourself or anyone else stepping up to do it for you."
Frowns. “That doesn’t mean you have to..You don’t owe me anything- let alone protection.”
"Even if I don’t owe you anything, I’d prefer to help you."
"But why?? I’ve been the cause of so much pain." Doesn’t understand.
"Yeah, but… Think of this as a second chance. Even the Devil deserves one."
"I’m fully positive I don’t deserve a second chance." He half scoffed and shook his head.
"Why?" Sam asked, honestly curious. He couldn’t see a reason.
"Because I'm the devil."

Sam wakes up to the feeling of marker drying on his stomach and the wet marker still scribbling on his upper lip. “Nh… Luci?” he frowned, gently batting the little boy’s hand away. “What are you doing?”
Luci flashed him a bright and devious smile, hiding the marker under his shirt. “Nothing, Sammy~”
Sam raised an eyebrow, shaking his head. “Yeah, I doubt that… What’s under your shirt?” There was an odd little bulge on the boy’s chest that he didn’t remember being there…
"It's um..My belly, duh!" The small blond gave him a 'are you stupid' look and flicked his nose.
"I’m biting you. Get out of Sam!"
"That’s a little rude," Gadreel frowned, tapping Lucifer’s nose. "I haven’t done anything wrong."
The little angel glowered and huffed, releasing Gadreel. “You’ve done many things wrong!”
"Name one thing," Gadreel challenged, surprised he was sinking to the child’s level.

Whats worse— Castiel thinking that Dean is dead, or Castiel seeing Dean as a demon and realizing that even though he dragged Dean out of hell; even though he threw away his home, his family, his grace, his life; even though he loves Dean so much as to lose everything for him… He still couldn’t do anything to save him?

"Which way is that way?" He blinked and toddled over to the door, reaching out and clasping their hands together because adorable.
Sam stared at their hands again for just a moment before pulling Lucifer down...
"South? What's south, Sammy?" Luci questioned, eyebrows furrowed in curiosity and wonder.

Sam knocked on Lucifer’s door, shoving it open without waiting for an answer, his eyes locked on his phone. “Hey, Luci, you’ve gotta see this-” He froze, the phone clattering the the floor as he saw the man lying on the bed in a… compromising position. “I- ah… I didn’t- I’m-” He blushed madly, not sure if he should just leave or keep trying to apologize for interrupting the Devil’s alone time.
A small smile made it’s way on his lips and he leaned sideways against Sam, head resting on his shoulder. “Maybe not another hobby- but something or someone to keep your mind busy.”
"Something or someone?" Sam hummed, smirking a little at the man leaning on his shoulder. "Got anything or anyone in mind?"
Upon his realisation, the blond shot up and moved away. “Certainly not what you’re thinking of, if that’s on your mind. And wipe that smirk off your face-!”
"What am I thinking?" Sam asked, innocent as he tilted his head in a way he was used to the angels doing when they were confused. "What smirk?"
He kept his light glare on him and flicked Sam's forehead. "That smirk. Why are you Winchesters so strange?"
Lucifer crawled up to Sam, a small frown on his chubby face. “Only human..” He stared at him with bright blue eyes.
Sam looked down at the kid, shaking his head slightly as he tried to offer him a small smile. “Well, yeah. Only human. …Not you, though. You’re an angel.”
Lucifer nodded and reached tiny fingers out to him. “Up, Sammy!” He bounced on his tippy toes. “I know..You’re a pretty human, though!”
The corner of Sam’s lips twitched up in another ghost of a smile and he took the little boy’s hands in his own, lifting him onto his own hip. “A pretty human?”
The tiny blond nodded and gripped Sam’s shirt with his fingers. “You’re a very pretty human..like a girl!” He giggled and pointed at the man’s hair. “Sammy is pretty human girl!”
Sam pretends to be offended but he’s sort of failing. “I’m not a girl, Luci.”
Grins and giggles more, reaching up to grab his nose. “Are too~”
Sam held him up at arm’s length, out of reach of his hair and nose. “Nuh uh,” he told the kid, pouting a little. If he was going to fight with a child, he was going to act childish.

"You’re special, swammy..swa..sam…" e-e He huffed. "Sammy-. You can pick where we go!" The tiny one pointed at him.
Sam sighed and walked over to the door, reaching up to open it and stare out across the motel parking lot. “Uhh… That way.”

Lucifer froze up jumped, scurrying out of the bed, First instinct would have been to hide under the covers; bu that didn’t exactly process in his head while he was grabbing the nearest thing to cover up. “Sammy!” A nervous laughter echoed from his throat, still in shock. “What are you doing?”
Sam shook his head, mouth opening and closing as he desperately tried to think of something to say. “I… I was gonna just…” He shook his head, laughing nervously. He knelt down and hurriedly grabbed his phone, shaking his head. “Was gonna show you something but I guess it’s… it’s not important anymore…” He licked his lips nervously and tried not to stare at Lucifer’s chest or… Other exposed skin but wow… No, no, bad thoughts. “I-I’m just gonna go.”
Lucifer let out a breath of relief and bit his lip, glaring lightly at Sam and diving back in his caccoon of blankets. “You can show me..Just..don’t tell anyone what you saw or I swear, I’ll you in the most slowly and painful way possible, Sam.” Ignoring his own beat red face, the blond bored his blue eyes into Sam’s own orbs.
Sam swallowed hard and nodded, sitting down near Lucifer where he’d dove under his blankets. “Mhm… It’s stupid, really,” Sam admitted, “just a cat video that Dean showed me… And even if I was to tell someone, it’d be nothing bad. You’re… attractive.”
Shook his head and frowned from the small dip in the bed. He squirmed, making the blankets shift. “Dean’s an idiot- And I’m not attractive. That just sounds odd and strange coming from you.” Because you’re hot.
"He is, and you are," Sam hummed, handing Lucifer the phone and trying not to stare at him too much. "Here. I told you it was dumb."
He rose an eyerbow and help back a snort, eyes glancing up and down the picture. “Your brother needs a new hobby.” Is totally not blushing due to the close proximity.
"He needs another hunt," Sam scoffed. "Kinda no time for a hobby for either of us, you know?" He hadn’t realized how close he’d moved to Lucifer and pulled back, not blushing at all.
