Just wanna say FUCK Spirit airlines for having a wildly unsustainable business model for Years to the point that they had to shut down the minute oil prices went too high, and FUCK the united states for going to war over oil and fuckin it up for everyone involved because they wanted to be in charge of oil and kill brown people, rather than developing like. Actual trade systems where the “third world” country is respected rather than exploited

Because of both of these idiots, 19k people are going to lose their jobs in an already tight market, and people will most likely die due to this immediate lack of income

well i think in his early days at the USNA he got so drunk that he chased/captured a goose and proceeded to carry tucked beneath his arm for the rest of the night like it was a perfectly normal thing to be doing

he wakes up with a killer hangover and no memory of the previous night but for some reason, everyone keeps calling him goose.

I love how most large airplanes kind of proportionally look normal. Like if you don't pay attention to the windows the A380 looks incredibly like a normal plane, and the 747 only looks weird because of the hump, otherwise it'd look very normal plane shaped

Meanwhile there's Mriya

And like obviously there are elements of her design that are intentionally different because of her specialization in large cargo vs being a generalist like her smaller Western cousins but like. It also feels like Mriya has gotten to a size where the proportions necessary for flight have just gotten ridiculous.

Look at her shoulders. Look at her centipede ass landing gear.

Imagine flying this beast of a plane when she was still around. Being one of the only human beings on earth with a type rating on this fucking eldritch horror of a plane. It would be like flying Concorde but if Concorde also had tentacles and there was only one of it. It would be the first thing I say to anybody I meet
