Fort Crescent WIP

See @luvwich's post about Fort Crescent here. It's an incredibly cool-ass solarpunk setting for her current fic in progress. I was so delighted to help in bringing it into a new visual form!

Here are a couple of initial concept sketches.

The final piece was going to have a tricky perspective and instead of trying to find a reference photo, I decided to just build the fort in Magicavoxel.

Filling in the line art and then adding flat colours to each segment of the image so I could manage the colour/value for the different distances.

After reading and loving the amazing scene from her Cyberpunk 2077 fic @luvwich wanted illustrated, we spent some time going back and forth on the concept. It was really fun and a good challenge to handle Johnny Silverhand's glitchy look.

"I say we go through Knell," he said, finality in his voice. Both Lambert and Dina began grumbling, which brought a momentary glower to their leader's face before he continued, a fox-like expression of low cunning seeping into his demeanour. "And I'll take you up on that wager, Tez. I bet my arse we won't have trouble, and you bet yours that we will?"

Now it was Tez's turn to snort and roll her eyes. "Sure. I look forward to being right."

"Likewise," he told her, smirking.

Chapter 45: Tiny Paws

But FIRST! Some super freaking AWESOME art by @littleplasticrat who abso-fucking-lutely knocked it out of the park with this scene from Chapter 7! LOOK AT THEEEEEEEEM!!!!!

Since I've come across many posts where actual real tits seem to be on display, it saddens me that i must post the gold dust version, but the full version can be found HERE.

Also please do go check out @littleplasticart and @littleplasticrat for all your sinfully scintillating illustration needs because this was well worth the money spent and then some. And yes I am very much a fan so throw in a follow while you're at it!!

On to the chapter at hand, and oh boy the plot just keeps getting thicker and thicker here. I embraced a little bit of my whimsy with this chapter and again, I refuse to apologise for it!

It was a balance of care and effort that was indeed like trying to apply physical force through the mind, and it hurt. Not the quick sizzling pain of the blade, but the ache of a strained muscle that would take time and practice to negate. Gripping the devils wrists she pushed against that natural resistance until she felt the give she was looking for. Her wings folded, and then folded again, feeling as though they had been cramped in some other space, both there and not there.

Opening her eyes, she looked over her shoulder at the mirror again, and saw nothing but the usual vestigial wing tips all tieflings had. She breathed out slowly, aware that her brow had begun to bead with sweat, and she was now panting slightly.

“It feels…strange. Like toes squished up in too small shoes.” she murmured, rolling her shoulders back as if to ease that strange and distant ache.

“It will feel more natural after some practice.” he said sternly,letting go of her face to slip a hand around her back and press his fingers to the top of her spine.

Ah! Thank you so much for commissioning me! This was one of my favourite sexy scenes from the fic, so it was a lot of fun to work on bringing it into a visual form 😉

Art vs Artist 2024 babyyyyy

So life got extremely stressful for a couple of months in the middle of year, but otherwise it was great:

- I found a really nice community here and on Discord which kept me excited about fandom

- I got lots of practice with rendering not only people, but materials, clothing and backgrounds. My art got hornier but it also massively improved!

I hope any artists/writers seeing this are blessed by the motivation fairy in 2025 ♥️
