**WARNING: long, cliche New Years post** (sorry, I had to) 😂 2017 was probably the fastest year I have experienced so far, most likely because it was a pretty great one! Joined another awesome team near the beginning of the year (I love working with you all 🤗), got to travel to the Bahamas, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, and New York - all with my love 💕👫, made some new friendships and maintained some old ones 😊, and strengthened my relationship with my family ❤️. Thank you to my loved ones for the love and support you've given me throughout the year - I appreciate you SO much! Also, some of you may know that Michael and I have been looking for a house for about 5 months now. We experienced the challenges that come with house hunting 😅 - getting outbid, inspections not coming back clear, getting our hopes up and feeling let down. It has definitely been an experience lol. But honestly, this whole process has taught me more patience. I've learned to let go and allow things to fall into place when the time is right. Well on Christmas morning, Michael handed me a wrapped gift - which was a surprise because we had agreed not to get each other anything since we were saving for a house (I was a little mad to be honest because it made me feel guilty about not getting him anything besides a card 😂). Anyway, I open the gift which turned out to be a 1000 piece puzzle of a painting of a house. I open the box, and underneath all of the pieces was a printed picture of one of the houses we had put an offer on - one of which our offer didn't meet the seller's needs, so I thought we had moved on. Turns out he ended up making another offer that was finally accepted - the inspection came back clear and closing is already in about 3 weeks 😱 I had absolutely NO idea that this was going on behind the scenes! Seriously the best gift I could have asked for - not only because we finally found a house, but because I will be starting a big, new chapter at the start of the new year with the person who has brought so much light into my life 🌟 Thank you Michael Parkin for choosing to experience life with me ❤️😘
