Hey, guys. I know I havenât been online very often, and I wanted to let you know a few things regarding that.
For those who donât already know, I live 70 miles from Canada, in a village of less than two thousand called Bethlehem (funny, I know).
Because our town is so small, major internet providers have refused to put necessary cables and towers in our area, meaning we have to resort to internet cards.
The problem with these internet cards is that they can provide about 20GB of usable data per month without getting too expensive.
The thing is, in four days, I use half that on just ONE of my tumblrs.
So, this roleplay account is going on hiatus until I go back to school. At my college, thereâs high-speed internet campus-wide.

It kills me to have to stop roleplaying on here, but the last time that I went over my internet usage, my bill went over five hundred dollars, and I have no job right now, so that shit isnât cool.

You grimaced at the thought. The fight against the Condesce had been a very long struggle, especially for you and Feferi to deal with. You looked down, closing your eyes and stretching out your neck muscles. The very thought of it seemed to send shivers down your spine,

You looked up to her. Come to think of it,
âWwhere is your mother?â
â You picked up on his distaste, frowning softly. At his question, you didn't have to think long about it. Your mother was usually in specific places. â

âHehe. Iâm good with rain, yeah?â, He wiggled his fins at Killian. âBut alright. Tell her and weâll see how this goes, I guess.â
The Emperor looked around and found a tree trunk to sit upon, and wait.
âIâll be here. Promise.â
The young Signless nodded, scurrying inside his hive, much to his mother's relief. The Dolorosa was busied in front of a pot of stew that sat piping hot over the fire, but she spared a second to kiss her charge atop his head.
It wasn't long before he'd managed to convince her that the Emperor was nicer than the stories foretold, though he was promised a scolding once their guest left. Kilian had always found it relatively easy to convince people of his causes, not that he questioned it. He figured he was just cute.
As promised, he opened the door, and waved out towards the Sea King, his mother's face appearing in the window with a stern expression.

You blinked, tilting your head as you observed the boy. This was the fabled Sufferer? Who would live and die in an attempt to bring a Beforian lifestyle to Alternia, without truly realizing it? He was much smaller than expected. You took another drink from the wineskin before getting up, approaching him and kneeling a bit until you were at eye level with him. You narrowed your stare, looking over him several times,
âYouâre him, huh? Wwell, couldâa had me fooled. And trust me, the Condesce and I do not havve a wwell shaped history. Wwhere Iâm from, wwe got a different Empress andâŠwwell, letâs say there wwas a struggle betwween us and the Condesce.â
â You weren't sure if you found comfort in the idea of not being known or not. You had yet to grow into your role as the legendary Sufferer (you were still a child, after all), but it did make slipping in and out of towns unseen much easier. â

âI know my reputation. The moment you tell her the Emperor is here, sheâll flip, iâm sureâŠMaybe I shouldnât come in at all, yâknow?â, He lets the boys hand go and sighs. It was hard trying to befriend folks when you had a reputation that precedes you a a monster.
ââŠJust do what you think is best. Iâll understand if youâd prefer I just leave.â
Now he felt sad. Kilian shook his head, once again grabbing the man's hand, more out of reassurance than anything else. He frowned softly.
"No, no, don't leave! My mother is very understanding. She'll believe me when I tell her, honest!" One day you'd find out that you were something called a Mage of Blood, and while you didn't know it, it certainly helped things.
"Just wait here so I can tell her. I'd feel awful if you left after you went through the trouble of helping me. Besides, it's going to rain soon."

âMm. Alright! Letâs go then, hehe!â, He declared just as excitedly, Walking at a brisk pace towards the north western forest. It wasnât a long walk, but it wasnât a safe one either. Creatures, however, knew to avoid the Emperor. The scent of his ancient lusus was still upon him, part of him now, and it kept him safe in his situations. It was an undetectable one to anything except other fauna and lusii on Alternia, and was a great aid in hunting.
The man's enthusiasm had Kilian grinning. Perhaps he wasn't in nearly as much danger as he'd previously thought (the creatures you normally had to sneak past weren't bothering you for once, and you took this as a good sign).
It wasn't too long before you both reached the edge of the woods. It seemed a long distance due to your malnourished frame and short stature, but with company, even to you, it had seemed but a brisk walk. You could see the smoke coming from the chimney of your modest hive. Your mother was no doubt preparing lunch. You turned to the Emperor, frowning softly.
"I hate to ask, but if you'd wait here for a moment, I can let my mother know that we have company for lunch. I'd just like to let her know first, if that's okay. I'll wave from the door when you can come in, aright?"

You closed your eyes, opening them with a sigh before spotting a rock nearby, taking a seat on it. You looked over to him as you sized him up. He seemed rather scrawny, though most Vantasâ seemed that way to you. You raised your brow as you looked over, then back to him,
âI suppose youâre afraid of me, yeah?â
â Was it that obvious that you were terrified of seadwellers? Granted, you had good reason to be frightened, what with most highbloods that met you speaking of a prophecy you had yet to fulfill and how they should snuff you out while they had the chance. â

He graciously bends slightly, to better hold the little ones hand, giving a kind smile to the boy. âThatâs alright. One of my best friends is a Jade-blood, he cares for many young. Which direction do you two live in?â
He needed directions of course, or heâd be lost.
He blinked. The Emperor was friends with other lower-bloods? Jade-bloods, no less? This was indeed a strange day. Kilian walked easier now that he didn't have to stretch out as much, leading the Tyrian-blood towards his hive.
"I live in the woods of the north-west," you stated, almost excitedly. As much as you were afraid to admit it, any contact other than your mother got you talking to the point where most deemed you 'Kilian the Insufferable'.

You snatched up the skin, bringing it up to your lips, licking at them as they wet with the water. You made slight gasps as you drank; you had forgotten how long youâd gone walking this time, but it seems you made your way far. As you finished, you exhaled a sigh, looking around at the forest,
âI wwas havvin a thought. Wwent wwalkin, ended up out here. You, boyâŠyouâre a Vvantas, yes? Your horns. They remind me of a friends.â
â You watched as he greedily drank from your wineskin, tilting your head curiously. It hadn't occurred to you that seadwellers needed to drink, but then again, being in the air for so long, it made sense. At the question, your ears perked, and you regained your attention from his sharp-toothed mouth. â
