Is this a safe space to say I haunt the cod agere tag daily?
Literally get sad whenever there’s nothing new so yk what they say create what you wanna see
Anyways here’s my headcanons on what the babies’ favorite shows are to watch when regressed 🤩
Cartoon HCs
Kyle “Gaz” Garrick 🌲📚🦕
— Little Bear
I feel like Kyle is definitely a nature-y kind of little. He loves watching the adventures all the animal friends go on in the show, and that fuels his imagination for when he plays outside after TV time. John sometimes calls him little bear and it makes his day. I see Kyle as being a 4-6 year regresser. This show entertains him no matter what age.
— Scooby Doo: Where Are You?
This show is more catered to when he is around 6 but sometimes 5 as well. There are some episodes that scare him just because of how the monsters/villains are shown in certain scenes. He tries to stay strong though because usually Johnny will be somewhere in the room either watching or looking up every once in a while. Nonetheless, he does still love the show and will watch it over and over whenever he gets the chance.
— Wonder Pets
Again, this is another animal-adventure type show. He loves the creative touch given to the scenery and all the things the characters use in the show. It promotes problem-solving and I think that’s just something his little brain would love. He has stuffed animals that he makes up adventure stories for, it entertains him for hours on end. This show is usually something he likes to watch when mostly 4, in some rare cases 5.
John “Soap” MacTavish 🍀🐾⛰️
— Bob the Builder
You can’t convince me that he doesn’t love this show. He regresses to 3-5 years and loves the constant go-action. We all know one of his most favorite characters would be Spud. It keeps him entertained for hours and he has many toy trucks and construction vehicles to promote imaginative play.
— Teletubbies
I know many people don’t like this show. It comes off as uncanny to a lot of kids and adults, but Johnny loves it. At first he was skittish of it, but the colorful scenery and sounds quiet his brain in the best way. However, this show doesn’t really interest him unless he’s 3 or in rare cases 4. This show was banned in the household because it made Simon cry one morning, so now he can only watch it when Simon is asleep. (I don’t blame Simon at all, it’s a scary show.)
— Wallace & Gromit’s Cracking Contraptions
This is the go-to show when he’s sometimes at 4 but mostly 5 and Bob the Builder isn’t on. The animation style soothes him and is just overall fascinating in his little brain. Johnny loves building things and being creative so this really motivates him to do more like it. Luckily neither of the others are scared of this one.
Simon “Ghost” Riley 🍯🌾🐛
— Kipper
Simon loves Kipper. The reason being that the show is very calm. Not much loud noise, no overexciting songs. This show is known for its calm and soothing vibes both from the characters and background noise. The animation isn’t too much, and that’s what he loves about it. Simon regresses around 1-2 so most of his favorite shows are like this.
— Winnie the Pooh
This isn’t directed towards a certain show or movie because he loves them all. He even has a Pooh Bear plush. Actually, lots of things he has are themed as the hundred acre woods, or just Winnie the Pooh in general. He isn’t fond of the new generation shows, though. The new ones are too noisy, too bright, and overall too overstimulating. If you haven’t noticed yet, Simon likes the calm shows.
— Sesame Street/Elmo’s World
This one kind of contradicts what I said about Simon not liking bright and noisy shows. I feel like this is subjective though. Sesame Street can be noisy but the older seasons are a little less stimulating and I feel like that would be ideal for him. He doesn’t show much emotion when watching it, but trust me that’s just because he’s so entranced. Elmo’s world can sometimes be a little much. This one is usually saved for when he’s around 2 because he can handle the bright colors better.
John Price 🦌🪵🍂
John is their caregiver, yes, but I feel like he has his personal favorites out of all the shows that his babies watch. So I’ve made a list of his rating to them.
1. Scooby Doo: Where Are You?
2. Little Bear
3. Kipper
4. Bob the Builder
5. Wallace & Gromit’s Cracking Contraptions
6. Winnie the Pooh
7. Sesame Street/Elmo’s World
8. Wonder Pets
9. Teletubbies
I know I’m not going to get much traction with this but I did work really hard on it. So if you guys like this I won’t hesitate to make more because this was so much fun 🤩
Anyways, thank you 🙏
