Soo cute!! We've been on some walks and collected some recipes and crafting materials. I love that the characters make noises when they speak, just like in animal crossing! 🌸

I picked up both the pink and purple shells, decided to use the purple and keep the pink for collection! Loving it so far, already better than the smart! Any questions about the device, ask away!

Special Evolution!

Good care, a few games and snacks. 

I wasn’t trying anything specific with Abbey, I honestly wasn’t expecting to get the special evolution!

Abbey!

Care:

I took terrible care of the baby molcar. 

Lots of mistakes and sickness. 

Also, I got Shiromo and his special evolution before this, but I was unable to take a picture.

For Shiromo I took good care of him, carwash minigame and some snacks.

For Zombie Shiromo I took terrible care of Shiromo.

I also got Potato again. However, this time I played no games with him and only fed the baby molcar food and snacks.

Let’s Talk - Jordy Nano

I’ve always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with the Tamagotchi Nanos. I love them because they’re simple to care for if I’m busy, but I dislike how lacking they can feel when I have more time. I’ve skipped a few of the recent releases because I didn’t like the theme or I thought it wouldn’t hold my attention. The Extellatchi was the last nano I purchased (I wrote this before the Molcar nano arrived!) and I thought that would likely be it for a while. I liked the Extellatchi but I was a bit disappointed with it. It just felt a little bit lacklustre and frustrating at times.

Then I found a listing for a Jordy Tamagotchi Nano. I’d long since given up trying to get my hands on one since none of the sellers were willing to ship to my location (at the time, not sure about now). I was a bit worried I’d be disappointed like I was with the Extellatchi, but I went ahead and ordered anyway. 

I’m so glad I did!

This is by far my most favourite nano. I absolutely adore this model. Jordy is so cute and I love checking in with him every morning. It actually feels like he accompanies you throughout your day. 

The aim of the Nano is to find Jordy a part-time job. Which job he gets depends on the games you play with him. There are also other factors to this but I don’t want to spoil anything. If you do well and keep Jordy happy, he’ll get promoted and have a ‘final’ job. This final evolution marks the end of your run and you can restart. 

This model also addresses all of the complaints I had about the Extellatchi:

It has animations throughout the day. 

It has six games.

It evolves quickly and doesn’t hang around. 

You don’t need to heavily mistreat it to move on to the next generation, or wait a long time. 

The evolutions are cute and interesting, they tie into the games that you play. 

I could go on but I’ll leave it at that. I love this nano. I’ve been running it for weeks and I’ll likely continue to do so until I’ve seen every job. This is a very worthwhile nano if you can find it for a reasonable price. I 100% recommend it!

Over 10 perfect games.

✨Overall thoughts so far:

This tama is very cute. 

The menus are all in English so it’s very easy to navigate.

There are three games in total, one of which is a little tricky due to the nano’s buttons. I’ve seen similar complaints on Amazon about the buttons being a bit hit or miss. The C button on mine is very difficult to use, A is perfect, B is OK. 

Growth seems to be based on care and what minigames you play. 

Who will we get next, I’m excited to find out!

I’m pretty sure I managed to get no care mistakes but it’s hard to tell.

I know there’s a special evolution for Choco, but the question is, how do you obtain it? I’ll continue with perfect games and hopefully something will happen!

Current run! Also running two of the digimon pendulum Z’s. Not the clearest photo, my apologies. 

I’ve been running the Extellatchi for quite some time now but I think it’s time to put it away for a while. 

I wrote up the ‘Let’s Talk - Extellatchi’ post ages ago but I’ve yet to publish it. I just wasn’t happy with it. I think it’s because my feelings on this device are a bit mixed. Overall, I like the Extellatchi but it’s a bit lackluster. 

I’ll come back to it at a later date with a refreshed mindset.

The cycle has finally been broken! I was very worried this was going to be yet another saber servant. Thank goodness!  I have no idea what was going on before. It could’ve just been crazy luck to get the same cycle of characters over and over. I did do something differently this time but I dunno, it could just be a coincidence.
