Autumn’s reaction was priceless. Her eyes widened, and her mouth dropped- along with the seemingly gift bag. Scarlett chuckled, and took another bite from her Twizzler. Autumn stuttered a little bit, and then finally managed to choke out her name. Scarlett just grinned and took another bite from the Twizzler.

“Surprise, bitch,” Scarlett giggled, and then turned around to walk over to her couch. She took her time, and as she set down she spoke aloud, “Close the door behind you, please. We have much to talk about.” Setting her food on the coffee table, Scarlett took a deep breath and then her face broke out in a large smile.

Where should she begin?

“Okay obviously I’m pregnant,” she started, and then chuckled, “And Dylan is the father, just in case you were wondering. So far, it’s been five months and I’m not just having one baby-” Scarlett paused, and looked down at her stomach.

A baby boy and baby girl were in there, and Scarlett felt her eyes brim with tears of joy.

“I’m having a boy and a girl, twins!”

There were too many things running through Autumn's head, trying to comprehend what exactly was happening. Scarlett, on the other hand, seemed completely relaxed. Amused, even. She didn't understand.

Picking up the dropped gift bag, Autumn slowly entered Scarlett's apartment, shutting the door behind her and leaning her back against the door.

"Are you actually an alien possessing Scarlett's body to give birth to another alien? Or is this like VHS 2 where the devil emerged from the pregnant chick? Is the devil gonna come out of you and call Dylan Papa?!" Autumn began to think out loud to the female, looking at her with wide eyes. Maybe she needed to call Dylan and Alec- maybe Scarlett was really sick and needed to seek medical attention immediately. Maybe Autumn was sick and needed to seek medical attention immediately.

And although all these crazy thoughts were filling Autumn's head, she managed to force herself to Scarlett's couch to sit beside the female.

She listened to every word Scarlett spoke, her eyes getting wider and wider the more Scarlett spoke. It wasn't the pregnant part that was so shocking, just how far along she already was.

"You've been pregnant for five months and haven't told me?!" Autumn spoke in shock, her mouth dropping. "Who else knows? Am I the only one who didn't know? Does Alec know?!"

Oh she'd be so mad if Alec knew and kept it from her.

5 months pregnant.

That was the count she was at now, and that meant 4 more months left of this pregnancy. It was real conflicting for Scarlett. On one hand, she was super excited to have her two babies. As soon as she had gone to the doctor, they were able to detect she was having twins! It would be a boy and a girl, and she was so excited. Of course, as soon as she found out she rushed to the store and bought a baby’s name book, even though she could’ve just looked on the internet; she just really wanted this to whole experience to be sentimental. Then, on the other hand, she was scared because as far as she knew- Dylan still hadn’t told his parents. Although, he had told Ryder and Alec, that was just the beginning. The real challenge was his parents, they were the next to know.

Besides Autumn, who was on her way now.

She still didn’t know, and Scarlett was excited to tell her, but a part of her wanted to just show her. So, Scarlett got off the couch and walked off to her room straight to her closet. To compliment her rather large baby bump, Scarlett changed into a black crop top and grey sweatpants. It was perfect because her bump showed perfectly. Satisfied, she started walking out of her room when she felt her stomach grumble. She was hungry.

Instead of going back to the couch, she made her way into the kitchen and opened up the fridge. Looking at everything in her fridge, Scarlett didn’t know what looked good. She wanted something, but she didn’t know what. So, she closed the fridge and decided to look in her pantry; it was the best decision ever. Grabbing a jar of Nutella and some Twizzlers, Scarlett finally made her way over to the couch and sat down. She opened the jar and grabbed a Twizzlers, and put the food in the jar and then took a bite.

Just as she did though there were knocks on the door. Autumn was here.

Scarlett got up and made her way over to the door, and then opened it, looking at the girl on the other side of the threshold before she took a bite of her Nutella Twizzlers.

“What’s up,” Scarlett grinned, and nodded her head at the girl. Surprise.

Autumn was surprised when Scarlett actually came to the door and answered, rather than just yelling from across the apartment that it was unlocked. What surprised Autumn even more, though, was what greeted Autumn at the door.

Of course, it was Scarlett- no one else lived here. The only other person who could answer the door would probably be Dylan. But Scarlett, rather than being her usual, petite self, similar to Autumn, had a watermelon-like stomach sticking out of a crop top.

The gift bag fell out of Autumn’s hand as she gasped, her eyes widening and her mouth dropping. Luckily, the mug in the bag was wrapped in newspaper, so it didn’t break from the fall.

“O-oh my god-” Autumn felt herself speak, rubbing her eyes to make sure the sight in front of her was truly real. How could this be? Was she dead and having a crazy after-life nightmare?

“Scarlett?!” Autumn practically squeaked out in a high-pitched, shocked tone, as if questioning if this really were Scarlett. This couldn’t be real.

Autumn was pretty excited to see Scarett. While she enjoyed the time away from everyone to be with Alec, she got pretty homesick. She missed all her friends, and even her family a little bit. While she was raised in Los Angeles, Toronto was her home.

Before she could go to Scarlett’s house, though, Autumn had to make a stop at a store to get a birthday bag for Scarlett’s present. She’d gotten her a silly mug down in Hollywood and a Hollywood t shirt, nothing too crazy, but she was sure the girl would love it nonetheless.

After buying a birthday bag, Autumn drove herself to Scarlett’s apartment complex. It had been awhile since she’d been there, probably since Dead Sister was still a thing. What ever happened to that?

Of course, she still knew exactly how to get there, though.

Parking in front of Scarlett’s apartment, Autumn got out of the car and made her way up the stairs to the door. This almost reminded her of when she visited Lukas at his new school, only Lukas had no idea she was going to be there.

Without any hesitation, she knocked on the door a few times, the birthday bag in her free hand as she waited for the female.
