INFO/RULES/TIMELINE

This is an RP account for an oc I have for Nezha Reborn! I'm cool with rping with anyone but first some info and then rules for this account! Also there is a timeline of events and links to related posts at the bottom of the post to fill you in on important information.

LORE:

Liú Shūbǎo is a 24 year old woman and is the current reincarnation to the river dragon, Yìng Yuè! Shūbǎo is a trans woman and also a lesbian! She's very hostile and awkward to strangers but once you get past her walls you'll find a loyal andfriend, she has a short temper and often doesn't know when to quit. She's skilled in parkour, lockpicking, break dancing, and is very knowledgeable on mythology! She's also short lol

Shūbǎo's story as a reincarnation happens after Nezha Reborn so she has never met Ao Guang, Ao Bing, etc. and doesn't know much about them.

She also has a double life as her heroic, vigilante persona called "JYY". Said alternate identity is both a local superhero and a demon king. She is well known and generally liked by Donghai thanks to her heroic deeds, as for her demon king title she doesn't really have as much fame or recognition, and unfortunately not much respect at the moment since she's started out so recently and doesn't have much power yet. But she plans to change that very soon, especially with her advisior, Jinji! Of course, she has to make sure Liu Er and the others don't find out or that will cause massive amounts of drama and problems for herself.

Like I said in a previous ask, Shubao views Yinuo as a great mother because of her compassion and gentle nature. She even wishes she could've had a figure like that in her life and feels very upset on how Yinuo died as it feels incredibly unfair and undeserved.

As for Gao Feng, her overall opinion of her is very negative but that is because of a biased viewpoint. She sees Gao Feng in an incredibly negative light and views her as only a mean and uncaring jerk. This is because Shubao has experience with bad parental figures so anything that reminds her of them is immediately going to be hated.

Now Gao Feng clearly has flaws but there's actually more to her character but Shubao is rather blind to it as she's preoccupied on how Gao Feng's parenting definitely had a negative effect on Liu Er. In a sense, it almost makes her protective of Liu Er in that area, she knows how painful it is to feel unloved and unwanted so her immediate instinct is to hate whatever caused Liu Er to feel that, and in this case that cause is Gao Feng.))

Shubao thinks Yinuo is an absolute angel and frankly wishes she could've had a parental figure like that for when she was growing up. As for Gao Feng, Shubao honestly despises her because she reminds her of some of her not so pleasant foster parents she had in the past.))

So I answered an ask recently that was on a similar topic so you can check that one out to learn more but long story short.

Shubao's father is Liu Jiahao, a train mechanic that has lived in Donghai his whole life. He sadly passed away when Shubao was 16 to lung cancer.

Shubao's mother is Kong Sotear, a Cambodian woman that moved to Donghai when she was a very young adult to start a new life away. She is still alive but doesn't know where Shubao is or what's going on with her current life.))

What are shubao’s biological parents like?

((Her father is Liu Jiahao and her mother is Kong Sotear, though she occasionally uses the name Yuxi. Her dad is native to Donghai, meanwhile her mother was born in Cambodia before moving to Donghai when she was a young adult.

They met each other when Sotear was having trouble shopping at a market as she was still learning Chinese, Jiahao noticed and helped her and they both got to know each other from there.

Shubao gets a lot of her personality from her dad. Both are incredibly creative and curious along with being clever inventors (Jiahao worked as a train mechanic). Both are also on the spectrum lol. They can't read social cues well and often wear their heart on their sleeves. But what they lack in social awareness they make up for in intelligence, both can easily pick up many trades and skills when given enough info to piece together.

The majority of Shubao's features are from her mother, Sotear. Similar face shape, similar hair texture and thickness, and also having many dark freckles. But she also shares some personality traits as well, it's just that Jiahao's traits are more noticeable and pronounced while Sotear's traits are more subtle.

Both Sotear and Shubao are very loyal and protective of those they care for. They can be very nurturing and empathetic and are natural caretakers for children. But they can also hold grudges when they feel wronged, and if someone they love is harmed then they can become easily enraged (Sotear is better at hiding her anger on the surface, Shubao not so much) and also eager to find a way to punish whoever or whatever harmed their loved one if at all possible.

Unfortunately though, neither are in Shubao's life right now because she was separated from them when she was very young. They were struggling financially so Shubao was forcibly taken away and put into foster care and her bio parents were never able to get custody, Jiahao died when she was 16 from lung cancer leaving Sotear to have to handle everything on her own.

Neither Shubao nor Sotear know where the other is. For Sotear, it's because she is unaware of Shubao being a trans woman so she's looking for someone who technically no longer exists and therefore can't find anything. Shubao doesn't know where Sotear is and frankly doesn't want to as she grew up with the misinformed idea that her parents simply gave her up to foster care and abandoned her.

Hopefully though the mixup can be corrected someday....))

He has always been listening in on Wukong for years but he just couldn't do anything at the time.

There ARE some things he hears in the future that dont make sense at first until it happens or he pieces it together as times goes on. And there are events he hears that COULD change depending on how things unfold. Sorta like he hears a timeline and tries to follow the one that gets him the outcome he would like. But even then the future is not set in stone.

So I found out that you think wukong is very beautiful whenever he fights Mihou. I know this sounds pretty unhinged to ask, but were you too busy checking him out when you 2 fought and that’s how you got killed by him?

Wukong fights beautifully the same way a musician plays an instrument. Or how a painter does portraiture. Fighting is an art in itself. And I am someone who enjoys art in all its forms.

It's even more enjoyable sharing it with another.

To answer your question, the reason I was killed was that although I was born with future hearing, there are flaws that come with it. I did not expect the Buddha to see through my facade. It was the first time I realized the future was not exactly linear nor set. Anything could alter the course of fate.

But it was a humbling experience that made me re-evaluate my power.

The Trial (part 3)

We both know you've done some things in the past but saying that you're responsible for every reincarnation death is complete and utter bullshit and we're gonna prove it! So let's start by thinking of someone who could act as your defense attorney!

🪙That would be Bong Chheu Cho, the second most recent reincarnation and the life directly before Shubao's.

He was born during the mid 1800s and lived through the Taiping Rebellion. His village was unfortunately attacked from suspicions of rebel groups working inside and he was left alone as the sole survivor before coming into Liu Er's tutelage.

Of course, he was like anyone else would want retribution for such an act, causing him to join that same rebellion.

However that plan quickly failed when the group splintered from in-fighting and coups against the main leaders.

Afterwards I believe Chheu Cho sought to seek revenge by any means necessary, including working with heaven after the empire was seen as unworthy of its power in heaven's eyes.

Once the job was done and the Forbidden City was destroyed, Chheu Cho was likely in an incredibly troubled state. In essence, everything being done then was in the form of an abstract suicide note...hence his fight with Liu Er and use of the dragon pearl despite likely knowing its negative effects on his human body.

And such effects soon caught up with him as his body slowly broke down before he left unable to fight any further.

Thus in response, Liu Er acted to make sure his student's suffering was not prolonged any further.

Medical intervention would be useless, including any healing magic, the damage was done. So, Liu Er acted to provide Chheu Cho a form of a mercy kill.

Something quick and painless to end any and all suffering.

You see, in each and every case Liu Er is not the murderer most may see him as, but rather a victim of circumstance and massive misunderstanding.🪙

*Baojie was listening intently, her eyes never moving from Jinji. After they finished speaking, Baojie took a moment to let out a quiet breath, possibly to contain composure. Then she slowly turned to Liu Er.*

Liu Er couldnt help but flinch at the recounting of Chheu Cho. He knew he was not a good mentor to him. And among everything else...that was the final straw. He vowed to never get involved with another one of Ying's lives ever again. Or so he thought.

*It was silent for a few seconds, the air felt heavy with tension as everyone seemed to wait for Baojie to respond to set the mood.

Jinji and Shubao were especially anxious to see as Liu Er's fate hinged on his testimony being taken well.

Xiuying even noticed the tension and ever so slightly glanced at Baojie, silently urging her to respond. With that, Baojie seemed to rise higher above the trio below in her cloudy throne as she glared down.*

⛈️As I see it, this may lead to proof that you're not guilty of murder...but I see it more as manslaughter now, maybe you didn't intend their deaths, but your inaction most certainly helped lead each of them to it.⛈️

*Shubao was the first to reply.*
