WHAT THE HELL
Fun times with Heichou.
"I do too!" he followed her inside the tent. His blue gaze spotted the 9 meter titans that she was talking about. "Oh wow this, this is…" he trailed off. The blond wasn’t sure what to say, but he did notice the way they looked at Hanji as she walked around. "You know it’s interesting. They seem excited to see you…." he looked closely at them, although he was a bit scared to be this close to one.
"Do they make noises as a reply?" he arched a brow, looking up at the squad leader. "Maybe they can understand, but they just have a hard time speaking out…" he suggested.
"That is good!" Hange replied, "They do look rather happy to see me. Which is really strange." Hange examined them. "After all I have done one would think they have every right to hate me… They do make noises and move their lips but I am not completely sure that they are trying to talk to me or not," Hange said with a sigh, "Although I know that it is totally possible that they are. I just don’t know if it is actually possible for these guys to speak."
He hummed softly as he thought deeply. "Maybe they are trying to talk...I guess we can try to read their lips and see if it forms words or something," Armin suggested once again, crossing his arms across his chest as he thought. "...they do seem very excited to see, maybe their hungry or something."
Baristas and Graphite {Coffee Shop/Art school AU} Eden || Armin
Armin thought it would be a nice day for a cup of coffee and settle down and start painting. He had just started a knew work. It was of a female who was part robot. Yes it was kind of weird, but that’s what came to his mind, and he usually paints what comes to his mind.
He placed down the painting and took a sip of his coffee. His blue gaze looked up as someone took a seat from across of him. He titled his head. “Uh….I think-” he stopped as she apologized. ”Oh no it’s alright I was just painting.” he chuckled, looking at it from the side, and then frowned.
"You think so? I don’t know yet…I think I messed up on it…" he scratched some left over paint that was on the side. "If you want you may join me, that’s if you want…"
When the blond said it was alright that she sat there, she gave him a grateful nod and sat fully in her seat once more.
"I think it’s really good!"She insisted, scooting a bit closer towards the edge of the table to get a better look at the painting. She tilted her head, some stray strands of brunette locks falling into her line of vision.Ignoring them, she bit her lower lip in thought."What’s it supposed to be?"She asked."It looks like a woman but…with mechanical parts?" She let out a small laugh."I don’t know.Either way,I like it!"
The brunette extended a hand to the painter, her grin friendly.”I’m Eden by the way. What’s your name?”
He smiled. "You think so?" he looked at his painting from the side. "I guess it doesn't look too bad..." the blond agreed. He sighed as she asked her question. "It's supposed to be a girl that's part robot. I know it sounds weird, but I think it will be cool when I finish it." he placed the brush in a water dish, and then wiped it, and placed it on a napkin.
The blond shook her hand. "Eden? Nice to meet you Eden, my name is Armin," he said with a small smile. "Do you work here?"

Armin was standing on a building. He watched as others took down the titan. “I feel like I should do something,” he told himself. Armin was paired with someone he didn’t know very well. All he could think about were his two best friends, he hoped they were alright. His grip tightened on his handle to his swords. Why do I freeze up like this? I should be doing something to help them…at that moment a titan crashed it’s hand down upon the building Armin was on. A small gasp came from within him, luckily he moved out of the way in time.
His blue gaze found his knew partner he was paired with. “Hey,” he gasped for air. “You alright?” he yelled to him, hoping he didn’t get hurt. Although he wasn’t anywhere near the hit. The blond always worried about people, it was something he could never stop doing.
A twinge of annoyance was pushed down as Luke shifted his grey eyes towards his blond partner he knew little about. The blue-eyed boy was frozen, looking distant and lost as his knuckles were clutched dead white on his gear handles. ”Snap out of it!” Luke hissed in the boys direction, unsure if his words went through. “Pull yourself together, others are relying on us!”
This wasn’t a game. The battlefield was /not/ the place to lose your focus. This was life or death, not only to them, but to others. And this was especially because of the objective their group was assigned and relied with. They played a large part in whether the mission would be successful or not. Could this blond not see that?!
In the Survey Corp, trust was everything. It determined whether you’d live to see another day or the current mission would be your last. No matter how much he desperately wanted to trust this blonde boy, the smallest twinge of doubt rested in the back of his mind. How could he trust a partner that didn’t have his back?
Besides, he had never spoken to this boy besides of this mission, though he had seen him hanging around the titan shiftier and his masculine yet feminine bodyguard. Why now of all places, is Luke meeting him?
A yell and a crash from below made Luke quickly rally his thoughts once more. He didn’t have time to think or worry about the frozen boy. Others needed them.
Without a second thought, steel cables shoot out from both sides of his hips as Luke suddenly flung himself off the building and engaged a ten meter class with three others. Usually, others wouldn’t dare risking so many to take down one single titan but the current area was difficult to navigate. The buildings were unusually far apart, making the 3DMG hard, but not impossible, to use.
Needless to say, two of the four were being used as distractions as one swung down to cut the titans Achilles tendon, an effective technique taught by the late Dita Ness.
As soon as the titan began to fall, the ending blow was delivered from a fellow solider who whooped in victory.
A quick verbal celebration and a nervous laugh was passed before each went back to their perches.
Luke grimaced as he landed a bit ungracefully back on a building next to his blonde partners, sleek sweat on his forehead from the quick battle. A twinge of anger rushed through his blood to find his partner in the same spot. The blonde boy had stood there while Luke and three others risked taking the titan down. Hot and heavy anger lit up his veins.
Not even two seconds later, the feeling was abruptly cut off when a giant hand crashed onto the building where his partner had been standing. Although Luke wasn’t anywhere near the clash of the titans hand, he still instinctively leapt backwards, a light curse passing his lips.
The boy. Was the boy ok? Luke felt his knees buckle, yet he found the strength to stand. Did he was watch the death of the blue-eyed boy?
As the dust cleared, he breathed a sigh of relief. Although the spot where the boy had been standing was now a creator, there was no blood or a broken body. It was a good sign. Seeking out and meeting the boys’ gaze, he jerked his dead in a nod. “I’m fine! You?!” Then Luke turned his attention to the titan, bracing himself to leap off the building in another attack. The grey-eyed boy refused to die from a careless mistake.
Armin wiped the sweat off his forehead. "I'm fine...I'm sorry I froze," he looked down at his hands in shame. He knew he should have helped out the rest of them. He was too weak, he was more of the brain of the situation.
His blue eyes spotted the boy name Luke. "D-don't rush in like that!" he yelled at him. "There are other titans below you, that jump up...you need to think clearly." he told him.
Although he should go after that titan now since it's hand was stuck, but the others below were a problem as well. The blond tried to think of something. "Alright how about I distract the ones down there and try to get them to follow me or something." he looked down. His gaze clashed with a titans. They stared at each other for a moment before Armin snapped out of it. "It's the least I can do...for not helping you."
Armin got his gear ready. At this point he didn't care what the other thought. He had to do this. His hands gripped his handles, and with out thinking to clearly, the cables shot out hooking on to the building across from them. Armin felt his body fly across to the other side, trying to get the titans attention. "Come on..." he mumbled to himself. The titans watched the blond as he made his way to the other building. Some tried to grab him, but only missed.
A titan ran it's body into the building the young blond was on, causing the others to do the same. Armin felt the building under him shake. Was this building going to fall? He hoped not, the Survey Corps didn't need another thing to worry about. They were so busy already, and he wished he could help, but he couldn't bring himself to do it.
The building shook again making him snap back to reality. It began to rumble under his boots, and as one more titan smashed into it, it gave in. The old building crumbled down along with the blond.

"Thank you. I hope I’m good for him," she admitted, smiling gently. She nodded. "I don’t think i ever will fully, but…I do want to heal now." Mithien titled her head to the side slightly. "Afraid of Eren? Because he’s a shifter? No. Not at all." There was something guarded in her expression, yet her voice was sincere.
"Thank you, Armin. i will keep that in mind," the blonde girl answered gratefully. "If you need anything, you can speak to me also."
She winced. “It…it was rather grim. I do not wish to entertain such a thought,” she confessed. Also, she didn’t want to bring the kind boy down. “You think so?” She smiled softly. “I’m glad to hear that. I do too. I just want humanity to be safe.”
He shifted slightly. "Well I can help you if you need any help, although I know you have Jean. Maybe for a push?" Armin suggested. The blond sighed with relief. "Really? You don't, well that makes me a bit happy. Most people are scared of him."
The blond smiled. "Thank you, I will sure keep that in mind as well. I might need it."
Armin looked over at her. "I see...well again I don't want to push anything out of you, I want you to feel comfortable," a warm smile was given to her. "I wish humanity was safe as well. I don't want to live in fear anymore. I don't want others to either." he frowned.
Armin gave a weak smile. “Don’t bring yourself down…it will only get worse if you do that,” he continued to walk along side her, trying to keep up with her speed. “Well I hope I can help you, and I’m pretty sure you will come out with something.”
"I sure hope so," Hange replied as she pulled back the tent flap and entered the tent and walked up to two 9 meter titans, "Meet Koloman and Jonas. My team captured them yesterday. They seemed to be rather intelligent but they don’t seem to speak any words. Or at least they haven’t so far but I swear they can understand what I am saying to them because of their facial expressions."
The titans had a certain look about them that seemed to be intelligent. Their eyes certainly followed Hange seemingly everywhere. If Hange could get them to talk she knew that they could tell her a lot of stories. But it was no matter she would eventually get a titan to talk to her even if it cost her her life.
"I do too!" he followed her inside the tent. His blue gaze spotted the 9 meter titans that she was talking about. "Oh wow this, this is..." he trailed off. The blond wasn't sure what to say, but he did notice the way they looked at Hanji as she walked around. "You know it's interesting. He frowned as he followed close behind. “I bet you’re not that bad, you may think it, but others say different,” he looked down at his boots as he walked. “To be honest I think you’re very smart.”
"Lately, I have felt like I am as dumb as a box of rocks," Hange replied, "I haven’t been able to discover anything for what seems like a long time now." Hange was starting to doubt just how smart she was. "I haven’t made any good progress for humanity."
Armin gave a weak smile. "Don't bring yourself down...it will only get worse if you do that," he continued to walk along side her, trying to keep up with her speed. "Well I hope I can help you, and I'm pretty sure you will come out with something."
Armin titled his head. “Oh I see, well I can give it a shot. I’m not sure if I can figure it out. You’re the one that’s good with Titans.” the blond will give it his all, but he wasn’t sure if he’s going to be much help.
"I suppose I have been working with them for a few years now," Hange admitted as she lead Armin to the titans they had captured, "But that doesn’t mean I am good with them."
He frowned as he followed close behind. "I bet you're not that bad, you may think it, but others say different," he looked down at his boots as he walked. "To be honest I think you're very smart."
He wasn’t sure how he felt about going to see a titan, but it’s Hanji. He knew about her crazy obsession over titans. “Oh really…so what exactly did you need my brain for?” he asked, looking a bit worried.
"Well…" Hange said, "I just want to see if you can help me figure out why some titans can speak and others can’t." Hange was sure he could help her understand this puzzle.
Armin titled his head. "Oh I see, well I can give it a shot. I'm not sure if I can figure it out. You're the one that's good with Titans." the blond will give it his all, but he wasn't sure if he's going to be much help.
