linh's carrying a tall stack of books through the halls of foxfire, miraculously able to see over them.

...or not. she bumps into keefe, sending her books and herself to the ground.

she lets out a groan before hurriedly apologizing. "oh, keefe, im so sorry!"

"linh!" he called, a smile forming despite the situation. "hey! you uh.. you need help with those?"

without waiting for response, he crouches down and starts picking up books. "sooou, where're we headed?"

”thanks, keefe!” she says with a giggle, then rolls her eyes. “i have a spare, one more exam to study for.” she nods at the books, which are all dusty, old-looking and seem to be about hydrokinesis. “i’m actually getting the hang of controlling my hydrokinesis, it’s the theory i struggle with. though i suppose it doesn’t help that all the books were written centuries ago,” she adds after a moment.

perhaps recognizing keefe fidgeting in the following moments of silence, she asks, “and you? you mentioned you have one more nerve-wracking exam. what’s the big bad in keefeland?”
