Day 51: Literally, on island time... Take life as it comes! Hanging out on the boat dock with great friends :)
Day 48: we made rum drink with fresh coconuts! Soooo yummy living off the bounty of the earth.. I love it!
Day 47: Trunk Bay what a beautiful beach! It's a must visit but do be wary that you have to pay. Your best bet for going in for free is going around 4-4:30 ;)
This is what happens when you live in a house full of ECU fans... So much for watching a good game on TV... Haha still love y'all ;) Roll Tide!
Day 46: Babysitting on the side! What a sweet little girl were watching :)
When you get to the island it is all about the people you meet and the experiences you have. Don't stress out about the small thing in life.
Coral Bay Labor Day Parade 2015!
Day 43: Great drink recipe! Cinnamon, orange juice, and ice! So yummy!
Day 40: the boys competing at the Love City Triathlon! What a great time :) The guys did great and now can say they’ve completed a Triathlon! Next year will be the girls’ turns.. Yikessss better start training!
Day 40: What a beautiful morning to have the Love City Triathlon!
Day 39: Today, the boys signed up for tomorrow’s Love City Triathlon! They’ll be partaking in the SUPathon :)
Good luck boys… I’ll be volunteering and doing yoga on the beach with my favorite yoga instructor, Morgan Lindley!
Day 38: Just had the worse experience ever… Beware of the manchineel tree!!!! Morgan ate a random fruit off the ground that looks like a little green apple and started feeling burning in her mouth… Imagine pouring the hottest hot sauce in your mouth and it doesn’t go away for hours… Awful… Then start feeling sick to you stomach… This is when we freaked out, when we brought a sample to town to show locals they freaked and told us to get it away from them, “the apple of death” they called it. Supposedly the white sap is so deadly when it rains it can burn your skin and the smoke can make you blind!!! Luckily, a friendly couple was more than happy to help us out and called the hospital to find out more. She didn’t have the symptoms like shortness of breath, blisters or enough that she’d have burning of the stomach line… She took Benadryl and Pepcid for meds. Then foods that absorbed the spice feel like milk, creamer and rice. Omg “story of the day” best relief in the world to know Morgan's okay! I love you, Morgan! No more eating random fruit!!!!
“You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you as are to them.” -Desmond Tutu
Day 37: the small things are what count the most in life.. Soak it all in! "The trouble is, you think you have time" -buddha Enjoy every aspect of the world and what it offers. Never give in to society's expectations.
Our little piece of paradise! No one on the beach but us :) is there anyway I could do this everyday with no worries?!?
Day 35: look at this cute couple! We took them to Cruz Bay where we went to Woodys :) Kenny please come play for us!!!
Also we got some fresh mango from a vendor… It’s look delicious
Love the life you live. Live the life you have!!! Let’s make the most of it!!
Great song! Check it out. Trust me you won't be disappointed :)
Day 34: We took Corey and Morgan to Salt Pond today! Tomorrow we'll be hiking the Ramshead Trail (1.6Km), which happens to be my favorite! It's a must if you visit St. John, a panoramic view of the nothing, but ocean!
