The postal fandom has a really big problem of putting people on pedestals. I don't know if this a symptom of being a "small" fandom or if it's just because I'm interacting in fandom spaces more, because Ive never seen this happening in the other fandoms Ive been "apart" of. Vince and RWS use the whole "Postal Dude would not be a bigot or abusive" thing to distract the fact that they are bigoted and abused many fans verbally and emotionally through out the years, but everyone always ignores it. And to add insult to injury, there's an old image going around of Vince stating that trans people are very mentally ill, and that he doesn't understand why we need a black history month.
